The property itself was incredibly charming, with its high ceilings and transom windows, but it was also beautifully decorated. Not only that, but Katie, the host, had thought of everything. “This house appears to sit vacant and is not well-maintaned. We reserved this home for an extended time and would have moved out sooner had we have been able to find another local property for the needed dates. Pest control and grass was cut within 1-2 weeks following our request, but the spiders were bad - inside and out! Also, ants in the kitchen. The house was very dusty, linens moist, and most furniture stained or significant wear and tear. We needed to clear and were not financially……

“This place was disgustingly dirty. We did not check in and went to a hotel. If they do not refund our money we will be taking them to small claims court. There were gray stains on the carpet. There were stains on the sheets. They were used Band-Aids. It stuck to the window blinds. There was a mold, smell coming from the HVAC and the smell of urine soap floor in the bathroom as if the toilet seal had failed.”
