“Lovely stay, helpful staff”

“Spectacular secluded location, easily drivable to town. Guest house was charming and Francesco provided exceptional personalized client service. Their wine was fantastic. Pool overlooking river was delightful. Beautiful vineyard walks. Fresh lemons and oranges. Scrupulous breakfast. Did we love every minute- YES we did!!”

“This is more like a hostel than a hotel. You're expected to make your own bed and keep your own room clean. However, it does provide a reasonable budget alternative to the upmarket river front hotels. ”

“I was never able to get to the hotel due to road closures caused by flooding in the area. The hotel never communicated to me via any means before hand. I made multiple attempts trying to get to the hotel through different roads and all ended up being closed at a some point. The sun went down and it was very dark. We were lucky to eventually drive out of the scary dangerous roads. A refund request was denied by the hotel. While I understand the policy, I don’t understand why the hotel never……

“We arrived to a cold, dark house. The remote batteries for wall heaters were did, there were only a few fireplace logs, the heater in the kitchen did not work.”

The bedroom had a comfortable double bed, and the living area with the fold-out couch provided additional sleeping space. The bathroom was very clean, and the shower itself was excellent. “The room was very clean and well equipped, nothing was too much trouble and we were very well looked after. Breakfast was lovely including home made jams, marmalade and fresh bread.
