House was accommodating for 3 small families. Plenty of sitting room, we had a cozy fire in the fire place and played several of boards games provided. About a 20 min drive to the mountain where the kids went snow boarding. Beds were comfortable and clean.

We had a wonderful stay at the Roundhouse! We were in town for a family event. The house was in a wonderful location. It was a quiet, safe area that was an easy drive from neighboring towns. The host, Bob, allowed us to check in early Friday to be able to spend a little more time with family. Thank you for the great stay!

There was 13 family members, that really enjoyed the "round," house. For famlies with children, so much for them to play with, with all the games provided. great space area for being together, nice laundry room. Bedrooms are on the smaller size, but good comfortable beds. The spiral steps from upper level are a little narrow, but there are outside stairs to go up and down. It is two levels, with kitchens on both, living area, bedrooms and baths. We would choose to stay here again. The hosts were so very accommodating, answered my questions, almost as fast as I hit the send button. Nice setting, pool close by.

We booked a pretty last minute stay, and this property worked great for us! It accommodated our group of 10 with plenty of room. It especially worked well for our group being the families of me and my siblings. I have to admit, I don’t know that I read the listing in super-fine detail before our trip, so I totally missed that there were basically two identical floors, in terms of layout, including two kitchens! The only drawback to this is that my older parents weren’t super comfortable on the spiral staircase, but that was not a problem for the rest of the group. There was plenty to do inside and outside the house, and we were in great proximity to where we were interested in sightseeing. In terms of feedback, I would just say that I would have appreciated a short grace period on the doors locking us out, as we are accustomed to going in and out a few times when we depart “home” due to last minute checks or forgetting items. We tried to go back in for my dad’s Yeti & my shoes at 10:01 and were unable to. That is 100% on us, to be clear. I understand the concept of check out times but don’t think there would be harm in a short grace period for the ADHD among us.

Plenty of room for 16 of us. Kids loved the outdoor games. The pool was a wonderful bonus, we all enjoyed it. A/C worked well despite high outdoor temps. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Seating was comfortable. Kids really enjoyed the video (arcade) games and all the outdoor space to run around in. Bedrooms were big enough, beds were comfortable. This was a great place for my family to spend a week, close enough to Lake Michigan for us to enjoy beach outings at the big lake. Highly recoommend this place!

Beautiful property

The view and property and amenities are highlights of this Vrbo. Having the lake and pool, quiet street for kids to bike on, huge yard to play in were great benefits. House was clean and it was nice to have two kitchens with a larger group. Having the 4 wings with their own bathrooms was great for multiple families as well. Hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. Mattresses were comfortable but beds very squeaky. We would stay again and recommend this house!

Guys trip

My husband and his friends loved the Roundhouse and are already planning their stay next year. The house was spacious and comfortable for 9 people. There were tons of options to keep them all entertained and enough space to enjoy being outdoors. They had one question and Bob was very quick to respond and solve their “issue”. Would absolutely recommend staying here

Northern Michigan Getaway

We had a great stay at the Roundhouse. It's centrally located near Petosky, Charlevoix, and a Boyne and not too far of a drive from other Northern Michigan hotspots like Mackinaw City and Traverse City. For us the highlight was the giant yard with a ton of room for lawn games, kite flying, camp fires, s'more's and "stellar" star gazing.

Wonderful stay

This was a very comfortable home for 4 families! The set up was great with each family getting a "wing" of the house with their own bathroom. Two separate living areas and kitchens were a huge bonus too. We loved the pool, large yard, and pond. There were plenty of yard games and tables set up for outside fun! Nice proximity to Boyne City and Petoskey for day trips.

Great Place for young children

We picked this place because it was close to Petoskey, Mackinaw Island and Boyne Mountain. Our young grandkids like the turtles, fish and pool. My grand kids also liked going to Lake Michigan and searching for Petoskey stones and Miniature Golf. My older children liked the big yard for playing games outside. We had 11 of us and each family had their own wing and bathroom. My older kids liked it because we could just stay where we were and relax. We liked the pickleball court, shuffleboard and ice cream store in Walloon. Walloon even had a beach if you didn't want to go to Lake Michigan. I liked the river walk in Downtown Petoskey. My family said they would definitely come back if we decided to vacation near Petoskey again. The host of this venue had a well stocked kitchen. The washer and dryer was nice to have too.

Great family vacation

This place was perfect for our family vacation with 14 people. The grandkids loved both the pond and the pool. We were close enough to everything where me made day trips to several locations - including Mackinaw Island. The host was exceptional, and communication was great. Everyone had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

Great family getaway

The owner of the property was very nice and was on top of everything. He replaced the microwave when it wasn’t working and replaced the grill with a new grill when it wasn’t working. I would highly recommend this VRBO for large groups. It is centrally located and you can branch out to any of the amazing lakes and cities around there. The kids had a blast in the swimming pool and down by the pond. I discovered food under some of the beds, which is a negative to the house cleaning lady. I forgot to tell the owner. The bedrooms are small as stated. We are looking forward to returning next year for another amazing family week.

You won’t be disappointed

We had a party of 10. The 7 bedrooms and 4 baths worked perfect for us. The pool was fun for the 3 grandchildren (6, 12, 14). Neighbors in the community were very pleasant. Bob and Lisa were very accommodating when we asked to have a delivery made prior to us getting to the house. All of their suggestions for things to do in the area did not disappoint. My hope is to come back again soon

The two seating room are are a great place for gatherings. Spacious, lots of seating and beautiful views. The bathrooms are small but I would definitely stay again.
