Located in the City Callowhill section, Callowhill is an up-and-coming neighborhood in the heart of Center City Philadelphia. Callowhill has a growing reputation for its vibrant arts and nightlife scenes. Fittingly, Callowhill neighbors the Edgar Allan Pоe National Historic Site. Featuring theaters, music venues, and other creatives spaces in converted factories and warehouses this trendy, artsy locale is also known as the Lofts District. Combined with a colorful arts presence, there is never a dull moment in Callowhill. Celebrate with friends at one of the neighborhood breweries or catch a show at Underground Arts or Union Transfer, which hosts events nearly every night of the week. Callowhill central location allows residents to walk to grab anything from authentic global eats to the hometown favorite, cheesesteak. This area is great due to its close proximity to the Temple University, Drexel University College of Medicine, and several other. A car isn't necessary, as most nearby places can be reached on foot or hopping on the subway. If you do opt to drive, several highways, such as Interstate 95 and the Schuylkill Expressway, can be reached within minutes. Getting to Callowhill by bike or on foot from surrounding neighborhoods is no problem. SEPTA’s Broad Street line also provides an easy in, with stops at both Spring Garden and Vine streets. Gladys chapter 3 Queen small two-bedroom apartment. she was very helpful in her communications. We enjoyed our stay in this area,. especially the variety of restaurants we were able to access. We love going to Chinatown! Grocery shopping was also available nearby at the Giant.

First visit to City of Brotherly Love

Location was easy to locate, to walk to downtown, and hop on tour bus to see all the sites. Fell in love with Philly. The cleanliness of the city, the friendliness of people, and beauty. I was with tween boys and we even walked the bridge over the Delaware River to Adventure Aquarium, fantastic walk, and perfect weather the whole weekend. The apartment was cozy and quiet, so we easily slept and recharged for next day. Great trip…would do it again at same location

Convention center visit

This was our first time to Philly and the experience of staying in a city apartment was fun. This location is an easy 10 min walk to the convention center. The apartment was well stocked with items, and was so nice to have a washer and dryer! The streets were fairly quiet and I felt safe walking with my children in the area. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Perfect Base Camp for seeing Philly!

Great location to many sights as well as metro stop and grocery store. The accommodations were nice and it was a quiet neighborhood. Very enjoyable.

Philly Marathon

Four of us stayed here for the Philly Marathon. Check in check out was a snap. The apartment was clean and the location felt safe w good security. The location was walkable to attractions.

Great location - just as advertised

The apartment was just as advertised, off the main road but conveniently located on a quieter street. Numerous restaurants are within walking distance but a large grocery and pharmacy are a 5 minute walk away. Entry and exit was smooth and uncomplicated and secure parking is 1/2 block away. We'd gladly stay again.

Amazing location!

This is a great little place in an excellent location. We were able to walk everywhere - Rocky steps, Chinatown, Reading Terminal, Independence Hall. It isnt huge but has everything you need. Check In and Out was super simple. Host communicated well.

Great little place close to Reading Terminal Market

Place was just as described and owner was very easy to communicate with. It was a perfect little place for our group of four, three adults and a teenaged boy. Easy walk to Reading Terminal for shopping and great food and easy walk to catch the hop-on/hop-off bus to ride all around the sites of Philly! I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place to stay. Everything was so clean. It smelled clean too!! The only downfall which is not any fault of the owner, the hall reeked of pot. Otherwise, a perfect place to stay!! Would definitely stay there again.

Nice place not far from all the sites

This property is very nice considering its reasonable price. It’s not right in the middle of the downtown museums/attractions but we were able to walk to most everything we wanted to see with less than a 15-20 minute walk. There are some fun restaurants/bars within a 5 minute walk. We had great and timely communication with the property owner and we had no issues during the stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience downtown Philadelphia. Thanks!

It was fine for a place to lay our heads at the end of the day. Very unusual floor plan. Nothing fancy in the space- cheap toilet paper and products. Place was clean enough, neighbor smokes a lot of weed and so the hallways are weed stinky. Location is great- not a lot of free parking, but there is a lot down the street that you can pay for 24 hour parking at a reasonable price.

Very Clean

Very clean apartment. Had some trouble with outside keypad but figured it out. Not knowing neighborhood or area I was skeptical when we got there but after seeing people out I relaxed and felt safe. I would recommend finding places to eat nearby before you go. Due to a late night venue there wasnt much open & we had to door dash McDonald's at 130 a.m.

Good place for us to stay

Check in was a little strange. I thought we would get check in information a day or two before we arrived but I had to contact Gladys at 4 o'clock check in to ask how to do it. We were pleased with the apartment it looks like the pictures. It was a very hot day and the apartment was nice and cool. There was no ice or ice trays so reached out to Gladys and she got someone over to the apartment with ice and additional trays in an amazing short amount of time. We were very impressed. We will stay there again as it's close to everything.

Pretty decent

Overall, we had a nice weekend. A couple of things, though. The right bedroom window is stuck open about 4”. It looked to me that the window frame was broken and couldn’t come the full way down. Also, it would help to have the condo listed as a second floor rental so persons with disabilities are aware of that before renting.
