Problems from the start
The apartment appeared to be a good fit with space, proximity to UPenn for a track event and a unique space. I reserved through VRBO. Requested early checkin when reservation was made as well as day of checkin, response was they cannot guarantee early checkin- no attempt to accommodate. Finally at 4:20pm we checked in, parking was a problem. Room was still dirty and not ready. Floors were very dirty, beds made but pillows on floor, food and drinks scattered across apt, dirty dishes in opened dishwasher, fridge had snacks and drinks of cleaning people. I called Sosuite- they told me to take photos and send to a separate email. Lather, the cleaning people came to finish and said Sosuite should have told me the room wasn’t ready. They cleaned the room for next 40 minutes with us in there, sprayed heavy air fragrance and gave us pillowcases to put on our pillows. No response from Sosuite. Next day, parents of track teammates and team met in common area of West Loft to go to UPenn together. Received a text I was charged $100 for a “having a party with unregistered guests”. They were- quick to charge us the money and never addressed checkin mess. When I asked about $100 charge and what about the checkin mess? They sent emails stating they were bringing up to management and would get back because they understand frustration. Never got back, every time I followed up, same response. Dealing with the company was such a disappointment- they don’t listen or care
