Disappointing
While the location and actual property was nice, the listing fell short of expectations and promises.
1. House was cold when we arrived. Could not locate heater and was unclear that single heater would heat house.
2. No direction booklet. One page with very limited information. Every home any of us had previously stayed in had a detailed booklet on the house, property, etc.
3. Shower in one of the bathrooms was broken. The main reason we chose this property was for a third bathroom. Was not fixed until we returned home late on the second day.
4. No complete cookware. No dinnerware made cooking at home challenging.
5. No wifi access directions so we could not access the wifi.
6. VaCasa customer service was of little help. It was obvious they did not know the property.
We would appreciate remuneration of some kind, since our stay was disrupted by lack of communication and instruction from the owners or the rental management company.
