The property was located about one mile from Sloan Park which was a plus for us. Nice clean three bed two bath. We had a couple minor things come up and the owner was prompt and very helpful. We would definitely rent it again!
This place was very nice. He looks like it was newly renovated, clean, comfortable property manager was very helpful. Master bedroom could have used the bigger bed and a blackout shade and a little more extra blankets. But our stay was very comfortable.
We had a great stay in Arizona and this VRBO was a perfect home base for all of our activities. Close to interstates. Clean. Comfortable. Plenty of room for my family of 4. We had a great time.
Our family had a wonderful stay in Mesa. The house was wonderful!! The property was perfect for our family! Easy access to the many activities we wanted to see & do! Family dinners & game night! Enough space for the 6 of us-2 live in Mesa! Spending quality time with our adult kids was priceless! Thank you!!!

A place to stay
The Pros - It was extraordinarily clean. Nice big fluffy towels. Appliances are new. Lots of things to use - including hair dryer, curling iron. Owner answers quickly if there was any issues. Is very close to Sloan park if you are going there for a game
The cons - The ad says there is a hot tub - there is not.
The neighborhood is really kind of sketchy. If it had only been my daughter and I, we would not have been able to stay. Glad my husband was traveling with us.
The night we pulled in there was a incident going on at the corner market. There are multiple two story apartments on two sides of the house. Was noisy - music, dogs barking. The house stands alone but is a mother in law kind of set up - behind and to the side of the main residence - so you are sharing a yard.
You are asked to take trash and recycling cans out to the curb. One night my husband was taking out recycling and was bitten by the neighbor's Chihuahua. Not a big deal - thick jeans, and the dog's owner was quite apologetic but not a pleasant encounter. It is quite a distance from some of the parks - be sure to check your gps.
There is a small step down into the hallway, that is not immediately apparent (it has a different color tile on the edge, but so do all the doorways and they are flat) and the tile you step down has a slicker texture. It is a bit of a tripping hazard. The handle on the front shower is about to come off. The front door has to be pushed closed for the lock to sit in the striker
The stay was functional. The neighborhood is sketchy but no one bothers you. The thermostat will more to 82, I don’t know if the owner has control or it is on a timer but be aware. Overall the stay is fine.
Very clean with all that we needed.
Suggest a new shower curtain in master bathroom and lid for coffee maker, had to use a spoon to brew our morning coffee.
Had a power outage by utility company but didnt cause any issues.
House was exactly as described in listing. Only slight inconvenience is the bathroom for the 2 guest bedrooms is located right inside the front door so it’s a bit far from those bedrooms. Al is a superb host and very responsive to any question or concern. The neighborhood is quite and safe and very little traffic. The kitchen is well stocked for quick meals but may be a little lacking if you plan to cook family style meals often. There’s only 1 frying pan and I didn’t see any casserole dishes. It wasn’t a problem for us and we did cook several meals at the house. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
Attentive property manager, but house did need some additional cleaning. The windows had some unpleasant dead flies, and not so clean windows. One cooking pan, no coffee. It was ok to stay at if you plan to not spend a lot of time at the property. We did use the grill! Amazing grill. The property manager came and switched out the propane tank upon request. Thank you for that!
The place wasn't bad. It had more to offer than I expected and overall was safe. First off, AL was great !!!!! He responded within 15 minutes of your email. The house was a nice size ranch style. It had 3 nice size bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The best room was the master bedroom because you had your own bathroom. I was there for about 5 days and only saw 2 of the neighbors that lived in the neighborhood. The neighborhood was very quiet. If you have a car, everything you need is literally 5 minutes from the house. My last night there, I had to walk to grab something to eat (because my buddies left a day earlier than me and took the car lol.). I was surprised of all the restaurants that were in walking distance. If you're from Chicago, they even have a bar about 2 blocks called "Groggy's" that caters to Chicago sports fans. It's a nice size bar with pool tables, darts, music, food and drinks. I also found out that you could actually catch the train from the airport to AL's rental. It was a 40 minute train ride which cost $2.00 dollars. The walk from the train station to the rental house is about 20 minutes(depending how fast you walk) I caught the train back to the airport. The Cubs spring training facility is 5 minutes from the house which was great if you're a Cubs fan. Myself I'm a White Sox fan, so me and my buddies took a 20-25 minute ride to Glendale AZ to catch a Sox game.
The only negative thing about the house at the time was that the toilet in the master bedroom didn't refill fast enough. I didn't tell AL because there were 2 bathrooms and everything worked just fine in the 2nd bathroom. AL if you are reading this, you might want to check the water pressure of the toilet in the master bedroom. Other than that, the only other thing I would suggest is to maybe get an iron and ironing board (There may have been one but I didn't see it). I would also suggest maybe getting one more skillet to cook in. The house other than that was worth the stay and money.
I definitely plan to stay there again. Check the place out guys and gals, it's not bad at all. Once again AL is a nice guy, he even let me check out later than the normal time of 11am. Thanks again AL.
