I would set the hot tub closer to 103 since the moment you get in it goes down. Sad that the firepit wasn't working but we still made good use of the outdoor areas in the day time

This home was a great place for a family vacation. There was something for everyone to do. The hostess was very helpful with suggestions for activities in the area and responsive with any home questions. The bunk bed room was a perfect place for the grandkids, and the yard was a wonderland for them. It was a location that we would all love to visit again.

Family Vacation

The house was beautiful and spotless upon arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and plenty of dishes, flatware and glasses. The outdoor amenities were great…pool, hot tub, pickle ball, etc. kept the kids busy for hours. We also really enjoyed the pool table. The location is very convenient for restaurants and grocery shopping. The host kept in touch upon arrival and during our stay. Definitely recommend this home for a large group with kids…everyone will have a great time.

Amazing Home

Best home I’ve stayed in. Equipped with everything, pool, basketball court, pickleball court, bocce ball, putting green, pool table, huge backyard, BBQ. The home was clean as could be, stocked with everything one would need during a stay, decorated very nice, tons of room, comfortable beds, nice showers, etc…. This home has a lot, and is worth staying at. Host is excellent as well.

My stay with Sarah and Modern Retreats was memorable! The home itself is beautiful, couldn’t have asked for a better home for our friends bachelor retreat! Sarah as a host was amazing! She made sure everything was set for us, coordinated instructions for check-in/check-out, answered any questions and ensured we were well taken care of! Home is full of amenities and is in the heart of any place you need to go, most within 10 minutes! Another great property!

My family and I stayed at a new property this summer and it exceeded our expectations! We have used this host for the 3rd year in a row now and she is wonderful. Tons of room for the family. The house was breathtaking upon entry. It truly was an amazing place. Spotless when we arrived and tons of amenities. Spacious garage, kitchen, bedrooms, and common areas. We felt right at home. The landscaping was beautiful! Basketball/Pickleball court was a hit, Bocce Ball court was awesome, and the putting/chipping green was perfect. The pool was amazing and the pool guy we had the pleasure of meeting during the week was awesome! It was hard to leave Arizona as usual after this trip, but this house made it even more special. Thank you! We will be back next summer!

We booked this house last minute after our original reservation was canceled due to maintenance issues, and we’re actually glad it happened! This home is BRAND NEW, very spacious, and in perfect condition. The backyard was a highlight, especially the pool—perfect for the Arizona heat! The house has plenty of activities and an extremely well-equipped kitchen—probably the best we’ve seen at a vacation rental. The availability of house supplies (ie. cooking spices, cleaning, food storage, laundry, paper towels, etc.) were much appreciated. The host's responsiveness and hospitality were top-notch. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and highly recommend this property... Thank you!

Home Away From Home

We stayed for my daughter’s college graduation. 10 adults and one baby, 4 generations. It was perfect. Roomy. Very well equipped for cooking with high end conveniences. Quiet and safe location conveniently located near shopping. No need to leave the property. We cooked every meal at the home for 4 nights. The backyard provided fun activities. We walked the neighborhood with the baby and stroller everyday and saw many other locals walking. The host was so helpful and kind. They are very hospitable and they’ve made this a home away from home. I would highly recommend staying here and we plan on staying again. 5 star home and 5 star hospitality. Thank you for making our stay so great!!!

Sanctuary for families

I recently had to relocate my family to AZ for work for a couple of weeks. Sarah was an incredible host that made our check in / check out so smooth and easy. I also had some annoying packages arrive late after our stay had ended and she was happy to help me get my packages back on track. The house was an absolute sanctuary for our family. It provided all the appliances and baby / child gear I needed for the entire stay. The kitchen was completely decked out with every appliance you need to cook up a family storm. All appliances and homewares are almost in new condition. And lastly, the house is stunning. The pool and putting area was perfect. My family will be staying here again in the future. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a spacious home to stay at in Scottsdale / Phoenix!

Fantastic

First, the host was outstanding. Timely in her communications. Helpful in her local recommendations. We used the Concierge Service and hired a chef for the night one night who did an amazing job with our menu. The property is utterly fantastic. From the pool and hot tub, to the variety of backyard games including pickleball, bocci ball, putting green, cornhole, and basketball half court; to just relaxing around the fire pit, or around the pool with plenty of shade or sun to read, watch the outdoor TV, or just catching some rays. The kitchen was a dream, and all the women of our group were extremely impressed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed. We had a wonderful week, even though it was a bit cool for early April. I would highly recommend this property and this host for groups of 8-12 who are looking for a vacation in which you only leave your property to get groceries or play golf. Thanks again!

Absolute oasis!

Our group had two bad experiences with rental properties earlier in the day that we had to cancel, and we booked and asked to check in with very minimal notice. She was responsive to my questions, and within a half hour of booking, we were walking through the front door! Immediately all six of us wished we had booked her home from the start! The home was impeccably clean, stocked with everything we would need (ample dishes, cutlery, towels, etc). The yard was amazing - we were disappointed that it was too hot (109°!) to use the pickleball, bocce and putting green much, but regardless it was nice to have. The pool was perfectly clean, and there was lots of outdoor furniture. I could go on and on, and for the 4 days we were there, the 6 of us constantly commented on how much we loved every aspect of the home and we would absolutely return! Thank you for your excellent hosting and perfect home - we can’t wait to come back!

The perfect outdoor and indoor oasis

This house is simply amazing! The kitchen is large enough for multiple people to be working in it! The 3 bedrooms having access to the pool is so nice and convenient! The outdoor area offers shade for afternoon with plenty of seating and conversation areas. The pool is perfect for adults and children. The adults and children were entertained with the pickleball and basketball court along with the putting green and the botchy ball green! We were outside for hours and would swim, enjoy the sun the pool and the shade and all of it’s amenities. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful and you have full privacy in the backyard! There were 5 adults and 3 children in our group and we had plenty of room to add at least 4 more people easily! The house has all of the little extras such as pool toys and floaties, cards, games, bean bag boards, and a pool table. The neighborhood is very easy to navigate around. We were contacted by the manager to check in on our week stay and would highly recommend staying here! We had an absolutely wonderful time!

Spectacular Home

Spectacular home with all of the amenities you will need for a fabulous vacation in Scottsdale! We had 10 people (6 adult children) and it was so comfortable and spacious.
