Our experience with this property was extremely frustrating and stressful. We had a confirmed reservation with a scheduled check-in at 12 PM on Saturday and even received confirmation the day before. However, when our check-in time arrived, we were never given access to the property.We made multiple attempts to contact the host through VRBO messages, phone calls, and text messages. A VRBO representative also attempted to reach the host for over an hour with no response. With no communication from the host, VRBO ultimately had to cancel our reservation, issue a refund, and relocate us to a hotel.The host didn’t respond until the following day, claiming the reservation was cancelled due to a minimum age requirement. This made absolutely no sense since it was just my husband and me (in our 40s and 50s) traveling with our teenage sons.The complete lack of communication, accountability, or even a basic apology from the host was unacceptable. Being left without a place to stay on the day of check-in caused unnecessary stress and disruption to our family vacation. I strongly caution others before booking this property.
