Disappointing
Not up to cleanliness or maintenance standards. My mother had to wash her sheets upon arrival because they had bodily fluids on them. The lampshade was on the floor and a bar receipt next to it. Someone was obviously in the room before our arrival. I have photos of other problems and a list of things that need to be fixed.

Disappointing stay Poor description not an elite property
Barbecue incident: On our first night we looked forward to a BBQ only to view the BBQ unit erupt in flames and burn uncontrollably. It was apparent that it had not been cleaned in a very long time. Master bedroom bed on day two broke in the middle of the night, the broken slats are under the bed and we left a note for the cleaning service to not make bed until repaired. .we we then went to bedroom #2 where the metal headboard flapped back n forth since it was not attached to the bed frame. Cleaning issues:. finding used soap inside the box placed in our bathroom with hairs attached gave us caution about how much cleaning was done prior to our arrival. The outside garbage cans were filled and produced a very unwelcome aroma. the note on our welcome table welcomed us with the rules but it noted our day of departure was May 26, 2023 by 10AM. The home in general is in need of several repairs.Throughout our stay we encountered various problems including the non-functional ice maker and water dispenser in the kitchen frig, a ramada in disarray a noisy outdoor fan with an irritating sound, broken tiles around the pool, inoperable window blinds. The fees charged I believe were based on square footage of the property and not the quality in its current state.

Perfect Location
This home is close to pretty much everything you could want to do. A quick drive to stores and restaurants and still not far if you want to exore other areas. Downtown Gilbert/the Heritage district is a short drive with a lot of fun things to do and downtown Scottsdale is only a 30 minute Uber ride if you're looking for a little more excitement. The pool was great to cool off in with awesome views of the lake that was perfect for lots of photo ops. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out and the beds/linens were extremely comfortable. The host was very communicative throughout our stay and was committed to resolving any issues we encountered along the way. I would definitely recommend this rental for any friend/family gathering.

Beautiful location on the water, yes water in AZ!
The communication with the property management was excellent. Easy check in and very communicative. House is in a great location and set up very nice to accommodate a lot of people however it needs a lot of upgrading. I was disappointed at the outside amenities, i.e., bbq was extremely dirty. I don’t think it’s ever been clean. If it catches fire due to the grease trap being full, it’s going to be a big one. The grotto down by the dock was dirty and needs a good cleaning. There were several other things that just made the house look cheaper than what the cost was. Overall it’s a great, quiet place but the outdoor maintenance company needs to do a better job. When you book a house on a lake, the outside needs to be awesome and it was not.
