It was fun to meet other guests during our breakfast. All of this is set in a gorgeous 1800’s mansion that has been lovingly restored. 」

「Kiersten and Jacob were very friendly and great at check in! It was super clean, beautiful decor and safe/quiet location. The free breakfast was really good in the morning, plenty of options to choose from, well stocked and kept clean by working staff. We were the last family eating breakfast and she even asked if there was anything else we wanted before closing up at 10am, so polite! 」

「Beautifully restored house with spacious, clean rooms. The staff were all extremely nice and accommodating. They even thought of all the little things that make a B&B special like leaving rain ponchos out for the guests on rainy days and leaving a variety of freshly baked goods out for late night snacks. It was a 15 minute ride to Churchill Downs and 5 minutes from downtown Louisville. But, there were many restaurants and pubs in short walking distance. I highly recommend the Market Street Inn. 」

「The Brown Hotel is a beautiful, old southern hotel. Due to its age, I am sure it will receive some poor reviews. And to be sure some updating could be done. Our mattress while still comfortable was obviously old. But this is a great experience because of the historic nature and beauty of the space, stay here if you get a chance and spend some time in the lobby and get transported back in time to how hotels used to be.」

「From the time we walked in to this property the staff was amazing! Anya checked us in and was very friendly and gave us some great food recommendations. This property is quiet and clean. The museum/art aspect is a wonderful piece to the hotel. This property is within 2 blocks of the Louisville Slugger and Mohammed Ali Center...super continent! We would absolutely stay here again! 」
