“Our host Paolo was extremely helpful from before we arrived to even after we left. An invaluable local contact on top of a wonderful, clean room with an amazing balcony where you can have breakfast and coffee. The cleaner Giovanna also cleaned our room everyday. The room is well isolated from the noise outside but sometimes a little noisy in the morning for noise from the breakfast area but this is only a problem for light sleepers. Overall an amazing stay and we will be back!”

“Die Unterkunft war super, nur zu empfehlen. Die Kommunikation ist einfach, das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Zudem ist die Lage optimal, da direkt in der Nähe vom Bahnhof und Zentrum. Die Unterkunft liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße, es ist nicht unbedingt ruhig.”

“Palazzo Achates was perfect for us! It is in the center of old town on a quiet street and has been fully renovated with a beautiful modern minimalist design. I booked the last room available which, was described as small, but it was actually quite roomy and lovely. The owner answered all requests promptly and was wonderfully welcoming! He made us feel assured that the keycard entry to the hotel itself would work smoothly at any hour of the night, and it did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

“Really recommend! Valeria is super helpful and respondent!”

“Propriétaire très accueillant ! Très pratique pour un couple qui veut cuisine durant son séjour avec la cuisinette privée. Chambre et toilette spacieusr”

“good location and good service attitude. staff is very helpful”

“Mariella places extreme pride in her properties. She delights in ensuring her customers are contented and able to truly enjoy time both in her apartments and Palermo. She made us feel at home.”

“パレルモ大聖堂の目の前の路地にあるため、観光客向けのお店（ショップや飲食店）も近くに多く、観光にはもってこいの立地でした。スタッフもフレンドリーで、とても良かったです。”

“Apart from the great view during breakfast and the warm, enthusiastic front desk staff, this guesthouse is utterly disappointing and highly not recommended. I have never been to a place that doesn't offer eggs for breakfast. The only food available was unpalatable cakes, very hard bread, chopped tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and some peaches that were nearly rotten. The soundproofing in the rooms is terrible. You can clearly hear someone sneezing in the room on the floor below, and at around 2:00……

“Chambre moderne très bien située rue Maqueda. Malgré le bruit ambiant de la rue, les fenêtres étaient très étanches. Notre hôte Francesco est un ange, toujours prêt à courir pour nous aider. Très facile de communiquer avec lui sur What’s App. Les petites douceurs à notre disposition, ainsi que la machine à café dans l’espace commun furent très appréciées également. Grazie !”

“this is the nicest hotel i have ever stayed at. the interiors and materials are beautiful. the staff was very nice and super helpful. I would visit Palermo again just stay at this hotel again.”

“Hallway was really bad smell 🙁. Elevator is not working every day … We can not open windows b/c about close to neighbors. I think I requested street view … but was street view but wrong side . very dirty in front of the door ..Never comeback to that place .Thank you !!!”

“An excellent spot in Palermo walking distance to all the markets, cathedrals and restaurants. The hotel is very unique and the staff very helpful”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful, the property was clean and breakfast was good every morning. Location was good and within walking distance of most of the attractions of the city.”

“Beautiful and clean room with everything you need (espresso machines, cooking utensils). Clear checkin instruction and communication from the host. A bit noisy as it’s on the main street but easily solved with earplugs. ”

“This was a last minute booking and it was difficult to find. You have to go in through this tiny door that opens up into a common area and then up stairs to find the reception desk. Also, they are not there all the time. We had to tell them precisely what time we were arriving so they would be at the desk. The room was clean and nice and it was a great neighborhood.”
