"We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the apartment as well as the location. We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). The architecture and decor of the apartment was well thought out and probably the highlight for us. The only negative part of our stay was the bugs...

"Marco and his wife are fabulous hosts! We were greeted warmly and with chilled presence and homemade bread. It is a short distance to Varenna and you can walk the greenway into town. The apartment was great with a fabulous sunroom and outdoor patio overlooking Lake Como. We would definitely stay here again."

"The photos are accurate - this place is very comfortable with all amenities you would need and very clean, PLUS a fantastic view. The garden is beautiful and a perfect spot to relax with a wonderful view over the mountains and the lake. Lauro and Manuela were always available and ready to help. But they also respect if you want to enjoy your quiet and relaxation. We can highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you Lauro and Manuela for such a pleasant stay!"

"We had 10-day lovely days in this apartment, that was very clean and welcoming. Guisi is a friendly host and was there do show us everything at arrival. The area is quiet and the view from the terraces was indeed beautiful. From the bed upstairs you can fall asleep looking over the lake. The add doesn’t state, that there is a room with a bunkbed as well. The bath is adequate and clean. Only small negatives is a bit boring pool area (but nice pool) and there is quite a steep walk in to town....

"La casa estaba correcta, pero no habia aire acondicionado y solo habia un ventilador que funcionaba mal. Solicitamos dos ventiladores y nos trajeron uno y no prendia. El wifi no funciono en ningun momento de nuestra estadia y no lo solucionaron. Buena y amplia cocina. Vstas muy bonitas dado que esta en la subida de un cerro. Pequeñas cosas a solucionar por parte del dueño y seria una muy buena experiencia. "

"The space wasn’t very clean, so many bugs everywhere, cobwebs in the corner and stained sofa/seat. The view was nice but not worth the hike all the way up and down each day. There was no bus and it was very hard to get a taxi. I would recommend staying closer to the town if you’re taking the ferries. "
