A beautiful place to stay in the centre of a forest. The accommodation was lovely and fitted out to a very high standard. We were able to use the large sitting room in the evenings. The garden would grace a National Trust property and was full of places to sit and relax or meditate. The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Lots of extras (eg hot tub, sauna, forest bathing) available if you book them in advance.
You need to be aware that the house is 2.5 miles into the forest and there are no pubs etc in the forest for the evening, but plenty a short drive away. You have to enter the forest via a barrier but are given the code to get out without paying.
The pictures and description do not do High Dalby House justice. It is a connection that is quite overwhelming 🙏 Ian and Linda welcome you with a wholesomeness that is authentic and genuine.
