"Perfect location, so peaceful and private but only five minutes drive to the supermarket! Beautiful, well equipped villa and an amazing pool and seating area.Cannot speak highly enough of this villa!"

"The Stonehouse occupies a stunning location with panaramic views across the hills and down to the coast. Access to Monchique and its supermarket and restaurants is a matter of minutes and to south or west coast is only 30 or 40 minutes.The value is good too, at a considerably lower price than most properties in the area, but there are some compromises to be made: During our stay the pool filter didnt appear to be working so we had to use the net a lot to skim the surface. The microwve is temperamental and turned when it felt like it, but mostly it was the bed. At home we have an extra firm mattress but the one at the Stonehouse is so unforgiving we struggled to sleep, and the bed is noisy, each time one of us rolled over it woke the other up.Overall its a nice place to stay but does need a little tlc. "

"We loved our stay here. Our family of 5 visited in the heat of August and made great use of the local pool and some smaller ones in surrounding villages. We loved wandering through the old passages and stairways, the town is just so full of character! Air conditioning was a godsend on a couple of hot evenings, the beds are comfortable and we all slept really well (although the endless barking of a neighbour's dog was a little irritating ). The kitchen is small and cleverly laid out with a lot stored high and accessed by steps. A cheese grater would have been welcome and pot pourri in the salad bowl was pretty but meant we couldn't actually use it. The kids were thrilled to have TV with Disney channel! There is a laundromat at Intermarché. We would have loved some guidance on waste segregation - we separated our recycling and left it, hoping for the best, but after having checked out I spotted municipal recycling, and even community compost (near the pool, actually!) which we would have gladly used. In all, I can imagine Casa Sofia would be a great place to visit anytime of year and I hope we can visit again some day."

La résidence est situé entre 30 min et 1h de tous les attraits à visiter au Algarve.Notre séjour a été merveilleux et nous recommandons grandement cette résidence pour un voyage en famille ou entre amis."
