「What an absolute gem of a place. I didn't want to leave! After a 2 week road trip, we wanted somewhere an 'easy' drive of SJO airport before our longhaul flight, and this place was perfect. We felt it extended our holiday because we instantly totally relaxed. The rooms had lovely comfortable beds and stunning views. 「It's a nice place to watch sunset. The staff is very friendly and nice. The pool is nice. You can walk on the beach but the water didn't feel clean for swimming 」

「We loved our stay at Chachagua! The room was beautiful and we felt immersed in the rainforest, while relaxing in luxery accomodations. The staff was amazing, the hot springs and river slide were definite highlights. Highly recommend and would say that it's worth the drive.」

「Clean rooms and friendly staff. La Fortuna is about a 30 min drive. The friendly (Giovanni and Louis) make the drive worth it. We were able to spot sloth from the facility (guess we were lucky). I would definitely recommend it if you are on a budget. 」

「This garden stay near the city was a wonderful stop on our way from the Pacific Coast to the Caribbean Coast. The pool was very clean and refreshing. Inid and her trusted companion Lucy were wonderful hosts. We ended up showing up early and were not turned away. Privacy was 100% being within the gates and the entire property is one huge garden.
