“Our fist time experience with a castle hotel is pleasant. We arrived at a rainy day and thus a bit of difficulties in lifting our heavy luggage to the reception - you have to walk a few wet and muddy stone steps from the parking place. Despite that, everything else of our accommodation is nice. The heating is also well functioned considering most other hotels or agriturismo do not offer heating in late April. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast offers a lot of choices. Besides we found……

“Merci à Michele pour son accueil et la qualité de son hébergement. Tout était parfait. Localisation parfaite pour les Crete Sienese et Val d’Orcia. Très recommandé pour les familles. Nous reviendrons au Pozzo avec grand plaisir.”

“Lovely Stay, excellent view, a bit out of the way but well worth the travel. ate at attached restaurant, part of the slow food movement, lovely host and food.”

“Beautiful farmhouse with amazing sunsets in Tuscany. The house was one of a kind especially the decor! The sauna was not included in the price but it was worth paying for the upgrade. Very nice welcoming host!”

“Je pense que la climatisation était sous dimensionnée par rapport à la grandeur de la chambre”

“Bella struttura, nuova, pulita in posizione comoda”

“Monica is a very gracious host. We very much enjoyed our stay. The village is also very quaint and within walking distance. We appreciate the hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to the area.”

“Pros: Guido og Angela var helt fantastiske værter og deres medhjælper sørgede godt for os med friske grøntsager fra haven. Poolen var perfekt og altid ren og pæn. For os var det helt perfekt vi kun var to familier og at der var ro Cons: Vi har ingen kritik punkter ☺️”

“Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. The other co-owner kindly offered me our first night complimentary. (Thank you again.). The breakfast was simple and included fruit, juice, yogurt, sliced cheese and cold cut, packages sweets, tea, coffee and water. The owners were……

“The villa is located at the top of hill enjoying a stunning Tuscan countryside view. The house itself is antique however well restored, with an exquisite dining room and a professional kitchen. Breakfast is fabulous particularly the handmade orange jam making me feel myself the Paddington bear! We also tried the dinner set which tasted good and natural. For the welcome drink, try the hot chocolate made by the reception lady! It is a 2 hours drive from Florence or 1.5 hours from Siena, you may……

“Ideale per brevi soggiorni grazie all’ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo e alla cortesia dello staff. Unico neo è la posizione sul parcheggio di un centro commerciale con un bar accanto molto frequentato, ma in due minuti con l’auto si è nella quiete della campagna senese.”

“Feels like property incomplete in furnishing, still being set. Lots of service glitches...They couldn't sort my storage and I had no where to keep it. Quite frustrating given my locked had been prebooked. Air con was only 'on', but not working, with windows shut - it got stuffy. No one came to fix it. Huge space, which was nice, but felt they could have added a desk and chair in the room. Nowhere to keep your stuff other than a strange shelf unit. As bed was high, and it all just felt weird.……
