Amazing

Staying at Black Bear Getaway was everything we hoped for and more!!! The cabin itself was very clean and decorated! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals so we could gather around the large dining table. My kids loved the theater room and pool table! None of us were ready to leave upon checkout. Cody, the owner, was very communicative and checked on us throughout our stay! We will most definitely be frequent visitors to Black Bear Getaway!!!!

Great Cabin!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The cabin showed really well from the pictures and when we got there it didn't disappoint one bit. It was spacious clean and a great location to attractions in Pigeon Forge. Our kids really enjoyed the pool which was a short walk down the hill from the cabin. Definitely would stay again!

Beautiful Property!

I've stayed in another property (quite nice) just down the street but really loved this one best. Loved the three large bedrooms each with their own bath and the amazing theatre room and gameroom. This will be my go-to property from now on!

Great cabin in Pigeon Forge

Property was as listed and very comfortable for our group during a very rainy weekend. Especially enjoyed the games, pool table, covered hot tub and kitchen given we spent more time indoors and ate more home-cooked meals than expected.

Weekend get away

Started out with good communication, but once we had several plumbing issues they went silent. We even had guest have to leave due to not being able to use bathrooms. Beds were not comfortable at all . Pillows were old and stained . Upstairs fan did not work or arcade game was broken.
Leaking when used shower . Texted them to let them know and never heard anything back .
Doesn’t look like this was a first time leak .
Ceiling soaking wet .

Excellent Stay in the TN Mountains

My friends and I had an incredible time. It was a much needed break from our professional lives. Other than an issue with the downstairs bath, the house description was spot on and the amenities were perfect. We will definitely plan another visit in the future.

LOCATION

We loved our stay in this beautiful cabin! Quiet wood setting but a 5 min drive to the hub of Pigeon Forge. The beds are wonderful, and the kitchen/dinning/living room is open so that everyone e can be together. Loved it!!!

Spacious Cabin in an excellent location!

The cabin is well maintained and spacious. The kitchen is fully stocked with any type of pan/utensil you could need. The hot tub on the back deck has plenty of privacy. The theater room was probably our favorite part! The showers were great! Plenty of room for several couples needing a get away! Easily accessible with a great Location!

Awesome house!

We arrived a few hours after check-in time, but had no issues getting in. House is exactly how it was advertised on the site. We had plenty of room. We were in town for a wedding...house was centrally located to the wedding venue. I would highly recommend. If we make it back to Pigeon Forge, I would definitely stay at this location again.

Great place to relax

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin with modern upscale touches. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of counter space. The beds were better than most we've slept in. A great entertainment area for hosting our daughter's 18th birthday w/ friends. However, we were never able to get the arcade table or the light/fan above the pool table to work. Location was excellent being close to the parkway. We had a little difficulty navigating the TV/cable and reached out to the host by email (only form of communication) for assistance but never got a response back. This could have been due to it being a weekend. However, prior to check-in, communication was great. Overall, a great place to stay while visiting the Pigeon Forge area. We would definitely stay here again.

Great setting and location

The location was perfect-just minutes from the middle of Pigeon Forge but yet the setting made you feel like you were definitely not that close to the hustle and bustle. Maintenance was hard to get in touch with-had trouble with getting refrigerator to get our drinks and take out food cold and we did not put a lot in it when we got there. Had to use the wine cooler upstairs to get beverages cold enough to drink at breakfast the next morning. No turntable in microwave-it had been broken from previous guests but we were not notified of it. Excellent back deck-table and chairs were very comfortable to have lots of meals on. TVs were very hard to figure out but finally were able to watch. If you want to be 5 minutes from the heart of Pigeon Forge but feel secluded I would recommend this cabin. Owners were very prompt in getting back in touch when emailing questions before the trip.
