Perfect spot for a getaway

This cabin was recommended by our wedding venue. We were traveling with our two dogs, maid of honor and best man and his family. We each took a floor as there was a bathroom on every floor. Such a beautiful view! Loved the multiple fire places and hot tub! Would highly recommend for anyone getting married at the Magnolia or even just looking for a serene get away! Would definitely recommend four wheel drive or all wheel drive in your car when booking this place.

Great time

We really enjoyed our stay in Hollyberry. Our only disappointment was that there really was no view. We also had some issues with the hot tub which was disappointing because we were really looking forward to using that. Otherwise, the cabin was really great. We had plenty of room for the seven of us and it was just as pictured online. Would recommend without reservation.

Weekend Getaway

Overall we had a great weekend at Holly Berry. We were fortunate to stay here since there was an issue with the cabin we were originally booked in. We enjoyed being here to see the snow and this cabin was more than enough room for our family and dogs. The floors didn’t seem like they had been cleaned in some time, you definitely couldn’t walk around barefoot or the bottoms of your feet would be very black. I cleaned the floors several times because they were so dirty. The hot tub was very relaxing. The cabin had so much to offer. We would definitely recommend this cabin overall and would stay at Holly Berry again!!

Great location, not the cleanest cabin

Great location. Away from all of the loudness, but short drive to stores and fun. The cabin itself was not the cleanest. The floors were so, so dirty. We had 3 little ones that took their shoes off when we arrived and all of their socks were FILTHY! Bed sheets were not the cleanest. Our bed was full of dust and spider webs. Also, the master bedroom got so uncomfortably hot.

A positive person

The daily bear sightings and the beautiful color of leaves this season were a highlight! BUT This place has been neglected way too long. From the sink hole in the king bed to the to kitchen amenities (dishwasher, toaster and flickering can light over the sink) to the lack of cleaning, this home and I’m sure other reviews have been ignored. Floors are visibly filthy. This home also needs blinds over the full glass doors that are right beside the windows that have blinds. I never leave bad reviews but this one couldn’t be overlooked. I left more details with the Vacasa property manager.

Beautiful cabin but.....

It was freezing. It was low 20s when we stayed here. The bottom floor never got warm which is where two bedrooms were, one room had bunk beds for the kids. To say we were freezing is an understatement. There is a fire place that times out every hour but it never produced enough heat. I highly doubt it got over 40 degrees in those rooms during the night. The thermostat is locked so you can't change the temp. The top floors were a bit warmer but still to cold for our liking. Or last night we realized that ice cold air was coming from the vents in the kids room. We wound up not even staying on the bottom floor most of the time and 4 of us crashed on the living room sofa to keep warm the entire stay. Everything else was perfect. Gorgeous cabin. Spacious. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the pool table and jacuzzi. Lots of channels on the t.v. and no issues with WiFi. But unfortunately freezing the entire time did ruin the experience for us.

Unclean—and a real shame

As noted by other reviews, this home is in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. There was a fine layer of dust on most solid surfaces and blinds, cobwebs in most window corners, and crumbs on the floor and table. There were a few hairs on the bedsheets (we brought our own just in case). Several things did not work, including the TV in the main floor bedroom, and the sink in the basement bathroom would bubble up when a toilet anywhere else in the home was flushed. The heating and cooling were finicky…upstairs was quite warm, downstairs was freezing with no extra blankets anywhere. Most notably, the main bedroom upstairs window doesn’t open, so in the (unlikely) event of fire there’s actually some danger. The amenities were as described in the listing, and though well-worn were fine. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had the basics we needed. There was plenty of room for sleeping and the layout was convenient for our group. I’m most disappointed that the number and recency of reviews related to cleanliness and maintenance has not prompted the owners or Vacasa to mitigate the issues. Apologies and acknowledgements online don’t actually solve the problems. This could be a real gem if time and attention was paid to address the feedback.

Ok, but won’t return

The location was close to all the amenities of Pigeon Forge. The cabin did not have any scenic views, but it gave you the rustic cabin feel. The cabin was visually appealing but not the cleanest. Definitely didn’t want to walk barefoot. The kitchen cabinets need of attention and the dishwasher is cockeyed. Not all of the lights worked. Cable boxes didn’t work in every room, and there weren’t any games to play like most other cabins I’ve stayed in. The pool table was nice and so was the hot tub. I liked the large deck and the bedrooms were stocked with extra blankets. Overall, it was a decent cabin but not worth the cost that we paid. We won’t be returning for another stay.

A nice family vacation

The listing is very accurate, we had a family vacation ranging from ages 11 months to 68 years old. We all had an amazing time and found the cabin to have accommodations for all of us. Even the dog! A few minor issues like cleanliness and a smelly dishwasher arised but nothing we needed to reach out to the property manager about. Location is fantastic. If we could’ve stayed longer we would’ve. Would definitely stay again.

Cabin need la maintenance

The cabin was clean. But there was issues with water leaking into the kitchen when using upstairs bathroom. Also the hot tub was super hot and the temperature control was not working. Also even though all the rooms had TVs, none of them had Netflix app enabled.
