Great Comfortable Condo

We were very pleased with how comfortable this condo was. There was 6 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us to sit in the living room late at night and watch TV which was a huge plus for us since we are night owls. We will definitely stay here for future teips.

Christmas in Gatlinburg

Great location and big enough for 2 families. The listing has a bedroom with a king-size bed with pull out bed listed but that was not accurate- pullout was in the living room. The condo floor was dirty. Everything else was nice and the host was very responsive and helpful.

Overnight stay with family

We had an amazing time getting to be with family and planning on a trip again next year. However not sure if we will consider this property. The first room we booked, the elevator in the building was down and the room was on the 6th floor. We had my 90 year grandmother and no way she could climb 6 flights of stairs. Traci was very helpful and got us in another room in a different building. Get to the room and there is a combination to getting in the room. You have to pull the door to you before punching in the code. If you don’t the door will not unlock all the way. Room was clean! Beds have a lot to be desired. Definitely need to be replaced soon! However, the recliners slept comfortable. Again, Traci was very helpful.

We have stayed at Mountain View condos several times before because we like its location right off Parkway. This particular condo was just okay. The living room couches are in bad condition with the pleather peeling off everywhere. We didn’t feel comfortable sitting on them without covering them in sheets first. The queen bedroom bed is also in bad shape. The mattress is very uncomfortable and the sheets were dirty upon check in. The floors were also dirty upon check in as our socks were immediately black on the bottom. The front door is very loose and you can see light all the way around which is probably why we had to kill dozens of stink bugs (most of which were there upon check in). We contacted Traci about our issues. She was quick to reply and tried to resolve as many of our issues as she could. Overall, Traci is easy to work with but this condo/cleaning service needs attention. We would not book here again or recommend this unit to friends.

Overall awesome

Great stay! Comfy beds. Prime location. We were a little bummed that the listing said the outdoor pool was open, but there was a sign that said it was closed. The kids jumped in it for a few mins anyway. I know a few reviews said it wasn’t super clean, and I did notice it hadn’t been vacuumed under the couches but otherwise it was fine. There wasn’t any little soaps or shampoos so make sure you bring your own stuff. Couldn’t get the tub to stay plugged but it wasn’t that big of a deal, could have been my own ignorance. Overall we really enjoyed it!

Need much improvement on cleanliness

The beds are very good, nice living room furniture, great location. Floor was very dirty, had to go purchase a mop because the one provided was nasty, no decent broom. Shower had lots of mold. We sent a message the first day and did not receive a response concerning the cleanliness. Not a complainer, we have stay d there before but it it needs to be cleaner!

The king size bed

For the price, the king size bed with three inch foam mattress was very uncomfortable. It bounces with any movement. Also, there was spiderwebs above the French doors.

Nice place to stay But you need to fix the lock 🔒 you have to screw in the two screws on the side

When you go to leave you can’t get the front door closed. The two screws on the side of the door that holds your lock keep coming out just enough to stop you from getting the door to close. We used a butter knife 🔪 as a screwdriver to screw the screws back far enough to get the door to close. We are thinking about renting a few of the condos next summer for a family reunion. Do you have more than one unit?? We would most likely need three or four. It’s a great place to stay and the location is wonderful. Thanks for letting us stay there. Kathy

Easy process to rent, but property needed a thorough cleaning, ceiling fans were coated with dust, countertops were gritty & furnace room doors were very dusty. Jacuzzi worked but couldn’t close drain, pump worked intermittently. Some floor tiles cracked & lamp on table has missing switch. Dirt accumulation around a/c duct in master bath, microwave door was broken, patio door sticks & is difficult to open as is front door. Chair covers stained. Would not stay again.

Great atmosphere, close to all the attractions, restaurants. A few maintenance things need to happen. The shower in the master bedroom leaked quite a bit after turning it off. The entrance door needs some attention. It was difficult to open and close.

Dirtiest place I have stayed

Soles of my feet turned black after walking around inside. Soap was all watered down to uselessness. The linens were the wrong size, with the fitted sheet coming off every night. All the glasses were dirty. One thin towel per person for a 4 night stay. The pool was super chlorinated and cloudy. Just disappointing.
