「Beautiful hotel, but falls short of 5-star luxury.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Nautilux, but it didn’t wow us. Beautiful architecture and rooms, but the experience felt more 3–4 star than 5-star luxury.
The seafront location is lovely, although Old Town is a 30–45-minute walk away. Electric scooters were handy for evenings out.
Breakfast was our biggest disappointment. Hot food was consistently cold, poached eggs had raw whites, there were no yoghurts, few dairy-free options and the same...
「The serene and attentive experience at Amira practically guarantees my return. While the ambiance initially suggests a demographic of romantic couples, I visited for a getaway with my teenage daughter, and the execution was flawless. Their attention to detail is remarkable—from the intelligently designed suites to the highly proactive staff. The widespread buffet breakfast is a notable standout, offering extensive, flavorful choices alongside a custom egg station. The beach proximity, despite...
Schade.」
「We stayed at the Syntopia Hotel for our summer holiday. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they put in extra effort to get to know you and ensure you are having a lovely holiday. A few days into our holiday, they were automatically bringing our favourite drinks to our table at meal times which was very lovely!
The food had such a good variety with a different focus every other night. We particularly enjoyed the Asian night.
We would recommend staying at the Syntopia to everyone!」
「Top!
「Amazing service, clean delightful little
Boutique hotel. Breakfast was simple but delicious and plenty of choice - the eating area was amazing. Partially alfresco, chilled and bright. Room was fantastic and as an avid gym go-er, it was great to have decent weights and kit selection on site. Plenty to do a morning workout session in which is exactly what I wanted for my mini break. I travelled solo and I felt really looked after and comfortable. Buses into Reythmo old town easy to get and...
「Air conditioning did not work in mid-May but I think it’s because the season is early. It probably will work in June. Breakfast was simple but good. Pool was very nice. Room had a TV which was nice but the bathroom felt really outdated and always smelled like chlorine for some reason. Balcony was really nice. 」
「The staff at the reception was amazing, and the cleaning staff was excellent as well.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. Staff members were removing plates before guests had even finished their meals, and there was constant shouting throughout the hotel. The alcohol served at the bar was of very poor quality. Overall, this did not feel like a 5-star hotel experience at all.」
「Fantastic stay, Great location, highly recommend. Nice clean room with great sea views, staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good with so much choice. Good evening entertainment with live music good spa, had a relaxing massage. Two nice swimming pools and surrounding areas. Relaxing vibe would return to the hotel if visiting Crete again.」
「The amenities are great it's a lovely clean place to stay staff were lovely we had breakfast a little bit late LOL and they even gave us some bottled water when we left for our journey onwards. Nicely designed rooms and bathrooms.」
