"Important: if using Google Maps, make sure to turn right immediately after the Vini Vini in the commercial area. The old location leads to the maintenance area and no way to enter the lobby.

"The resort is fantastic! My wife and I stayed 2 weeks and our experience at Cook's Bay was awesome.
The staff were so wonderful and helpful. From check in to check out they assisted us when ever asked.
The property itself is beautiful. They have a fantastic reef just off the beach. I snorkeled it everyday. the sea life was bountiful. They offer cabanas, unlike other resorts we have been to, we didn't have to reserve one or "mark it" at 6:00 am with a towel. We would wander down whenever we felt like it as still good options.
The on-site restaurant is very good. It is a bit pricey though.
Finally our room. We booked a room on the second floor. It had a fantastic view of the bay and the ocean. The balcony was very spacious and well protected if it rained and/or the wind was up. The bed was very comfortable. The toilet and shower are two separate rooms. The shower room is large and will appointed. The toilet was ok. We had some issues with our toilet continuing to run and never really got it resolved. That was very minor.
Over all our experience was a dream and we would strongly recommend Cook's Bay to anyone visiting Moorea."
"Very convenient hotel to the airport. Rooms were nice and clean, but be aware, getting in and out of the parking area can be difficult due to the very steep inclines."
"What a gorgeous property, and so close to the airport, without feeling the slightest bit like an “airport hotel.” The place is large and well laid-out, with a wide variety of pool and dining options, each with a totally different vibe. We spent a two-day layover here on the way to New Zealand, and without ever leaving the property, we felt like we had a lovely little Tahitian getaway! The “Lagoonarium” — a mini-lagoon with exotic fishes you could swim with! — was a childhood dream come true! I always wanted to jump into the fish ponds at resorts, and I was able to do that in this gorgeous pool with friendly fishes! They also have a sea turtle rescue program there, which was fascinating and moving. We took a scuba diving trip right from the property a few hours after arriving, and saw many fish, stingrays, eagle rays, a plane wreck and a boat wreck in the crystal-clear waters. What a low-effort way to have a spectacular experience! The food at The Lotus Restaurant was transcendent! Staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know! "
"Overwater bungalow was spectacular!! A must!! Most gorgeous views of Mo'orea. Staff was helpful and friendly. Pool was a little outdated and not the largest but the beaches on property were stunning! "
"What a great place to stay. The property is right downtown, an easy walk to the cruise terminal and located in the middle of the restaurant district. The staff were very helpful and friendly."

A beautiful location with the best view of the sunset but the hotel needs some TLC. The rooms themselves are clean and pleasant, but the elevators and stairwells are very dirty. The entrance is beautiful but lacking ambiance (furniture, decor, music, employees). The lagoon area is nice but needs some landscaping. Beach access is nice. Restaurant on the beach is nice. Signage also needs updating. Staff were friendly but still in training.
I think the hotel should have delayed it's reopening for another month or two, really cleaned up the place and had a soft opening for family and friends at discounted rates so the hotel could figure things out.
Not sure why this stood out as well, but could also benefit from having secondary and tertiary logos (I think it's because the bar soap was wrapped in plastic wrap with the really generic text logo and it made it feel really cheap)"
"Absolutely amazing ! Trip of a lifetime- not sure how anyone could give an unfavorable review- We did a 1 night stay as we were cruising and had an overnight dock in Papette. Took ferry to Moore a was the best decision of the trip! Everyone at hotel especially the valet guys and bar tender Mr T were so helpful and friendly! Air conditioning in our bungalow was fine room awesome and views unmatched. Pool was gorgeous with helpful entry ramps with railing. It is very hot and humid so bring sunscreen and swim shirts or cover ups. Many shaded areas to sit and enjoy the breeze and views. Fans are also in restaurant areas. Breakfast buffet superb with many local dishes as well as expected cuisine. Dinner buffet and show lots of fun with many delicious regional food choices. Shop staff friendly and beautiful. Loved loved loved this stay! BOOK IT —SO WORTH THE SPLURGE "
