Piling Kawang Hot Spring

This was the best hotel we have ever stayed at.,, Staff were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to help in any way, great knowledge of traditional culture and will share information . Communication was on point, never having to wait for a reply, via what's app. Facilities, room and gardens was even better than the photos extremely spotless. Food was delicious and always on time when we used room service, but also enjoyable to eat at the restaurant with very friendly staff. Small gestures like a welcome card, cake tray, stocked mini bar, robes, slippers, extra pool towels and even a carry bag for your stay were very thoughtful.Can honestly no faulting this place at all. Peaceful and beautiful.

While the resort itself was beautiful, I was uncomfortable with some interactions involving drivers. One driver quoted me a transfer price much higher than the rate later confirmed directly by the resort and suggested using a relative for transportation instead. I ultimately chose a ride through Grab because I preferred the transparency, tracking, and accountability of the app. I also experienced a few comments/interactions from drivers that felt overly personal or suggestive and did not feel professional to me as a solo traveler.
