“very cool couple that owns and runs it would definitely stay again”

“After driving 12 hrs and exhausted we finally arrived to checking to our room that we booked a week ahead. Only to find out they only check in guest from 3 to 6 pm , this was not made clear on the booking site ! This is a hotel . My children and I had no where to sleep in the dead of night with no cell phone signal in the middle of nowhere at 11 at night . After no success in reaching the hotel staff we needed up driving a Treacherous Road almost hit six deer but finally found a town two hours……

“This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. There was a coffee maker and tea, grill on the patio, and we were able to cook breakfast and dinner each day of our stay with……

“Enjoyed our overnight stay. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room we had with a king bed was very comfortable, with more than expected room. The only issue was a discrepancy between our booked rate and the higher rate we were charged at the property. I have contacted Expedia and hoping to get the issue resolved.”

“When we showed up there was a for sale sign on the sign at the entrance and nobody in the office. I had to call a phone number that was on the door to check in. They had to open our door remotely which I felt was not safe. We had an upstairs room, where we had to climb up unsafe stairs with metal plates in two spots to support the broken slats you walked on. The railing going up the stairs was wobbly and made us feel uncomfortable. Both my wife and I are in our mid 70’s and had a hard time with……
