Refreshing girls weekend

Most relaxing destination for gals to eat, sip & sleep. Janice needs to be part of the group. She is too kind & her vision of Rockin B is shaping up perfectly.

Okay, not great

It's fine, but I would not return. The pictures and listing are very misleading. No where in the listing, pictures, or captions, does it mention that you only rent the top floor. The pictures shows a house. It's only after the booking is complete and paid for that I received a text telling me that I only had the top floor. It felt deceptive. The blankets smell like dogs, which they do allow pets. For a cleaning fee over $200, I expect everything to be washed and clean. Disappointed there. The shower drips and is noisy, keeping us up at night. The hot water does not last more than 5 minutes. I also did not realized that there are several other houses on the property, so that means you are constantly running into other guests during your stay while outside. I was hoping for greater privacy than what was offered. I parked my car on the only thing that resembled a driveway and received a text from the host demanding that I move it immediately. It's fine if you go into it realizing that what you get are a few bedrooms above a wedding venue. Not what I had in mind, ensuring I will not return.

The barndo was fantastic!!

I highly recommend staying at the creek side barndo!! It was perfect for 3 adult couples featuring 3 king beds! The owner was a pleasure and easy to communicate with! We Weill definitely stay again!

Outstanding location!

We could not have been happier! The spacious house was so well set up with absolutely everything you could need.. including trails to walk, deep to watch and a delightful pup to pet! Peaceful and relaxing but only a few miles to Boerne and some fabulous dining right in Pipe Creek! Would be IDEAL setting for cou try wedding! Thank you somuch

Perfect Get away!

We had a wonderful get away with our family. The location was absolutely beautiful surrounded by trees and wildlife. The home was so cozy and decorated so nice and the space to sit and visit and eat together was perfect!!!! We especially loved the outdoor patio with fire pit and seating overlooking the beautiful surroundings. It was a secluded area away from traffic and noise.

PERFECT getaway for our family

This was our last chance for a getaway this summer before our oldest went off to college. This home was absolutely perfect for us. We were so comfortable, the kitchen was outfitted with literally everything we could possibly need. The outdoor porch was breezy, beautiful, serene and perfect. The best part was this home was impeccably clean. I don't think I've ever stayed in a more clean vacation rental. Will definitely be back!!

Away from it all

My kids and I spent a long weekend relaxing, tubing, kayaking, fishing, enjoying the scenery and visiting the surrounding towns. The home was very well equipped and the owner very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it if you need to get away for some peace and serenity.

Beautiful, relaxing family getaway

The property is beautiful and very well stocked with everything you'll need or want for a fun vacation. Whether it was cooking a gourmet dinner, sitting on the porch and watching the resident herd of deer and countless hawks, watching the moon come up over the hills, or sinking into the comfortable beds at the end of the day, every moment was a delight. We had a wonderful visit, exploring the property, kayaking, and discovering the beauty of the surrounding Texas Hill Country. It was just exactly the escape from the daily grind that my family and I all needed!

Just Perfect

Great location, amazing views, beautiful and spacious home--we really enjoyed our visit! We were able to explore the land, fish, and kayak. It's just a perfect place to get away but close enough to different towns so you can get supplies or go out to dinner. Highly recommend this private and beautiful home!

Great property, bad experience

The property is unique, well kept and very tastefully decorated. It offers plenty of space for a family of four and king beds in all rooms. The sit out is beautiful with a nice view with plenty of trees. The kitchenware is of great quality. Janice tales pride in her home and it shows. We had a bad experience though. My kids had read a review in VRBO of previous guests enjoying rides in a golf cart. They went exploring upon arrival and came back all excited that they had found the golf cart and asked if they could ride it a bit. Thinking it was a golf cart while putting away groceries, I asked them to be careful and drive slow. Unfortunately they had mistaken Janice's gator for the golf cart and it didn't strike my son that the key was hidden for a reason. Janice did the right thing of asking them to step out when she saw my son driving. However, she dealt with the situation very unprofessionally. I have stayed in many VRBOs across the world and have never seen a person handle the situation so tersely. It was an honest mistake and offered my apology. However, she asked us to leave the property by the next day with total disregard any external bookings we had made or people we had to visit. Just half an hour after arriving at the property, our stay had turned rather unpleasant. We cleaned up as instructed and were glad to leave the very next day. In summary, great property but an owner who we had quite an unpleasant experience with.

Gorgeous house on the river!

We had the best time and didn’t want to leave! The house is beautiful and clean, and the creek is right out the door too. We swam, hiked, and rode the golf cart all around. We will definitely be back;)

Fun and relaxing getaway!

Our family loved everything about it- the lovely home with all the amenities, the gorgeous view, all the fun outdoor activities, and the added fun of the horses, dogs, and barn cat. The whole experience was far better than I imagined it would be. I highly recommend this getaway and can't wait to go back.
