Perfect lake house family getaway!
Just perfect! This clean, roomy, beautiful lake house had everything we needed and more. Every area was comfortable and cozy, the kitchen was well stocked, and everything from the shades to the hot tub to the kitchen appliances were high tech and easy to use. The fire pit, fishing dock/fishing poles, and kayaks also made for some fun memories. Check-in/check-out was easy and the house is close to the marina for any last minute needs. Not one time did we wish for anything different- it was just the best!

The property advertised sleeping for 14, but there were only 12 sleeping spaces described. When I questioned, I was told that there was an air mattress. Generally speaking, air mattresses do not count as sleeping spaces. When I checked the listing again, it had been changed to sleeps 12; however if you review the entire listing, there were still references to sleeping 14. Additionally there are not 14 places to eat. The table fit 8 and the kitchen counter sat 4. I booked this property because it slept 14 - but it is not truly able to house that many. Additionally, there is definitely not adequate space for parking. The parking is extremely limited and due to the severity of the incline going to the house, it is recommendable to leave the property going forward. That’s very hard to do as there is not adequate space to turn around. It’s a great house for a large family with a maximum of 12 people in two cars, three cars at most.

Beautiful Property Lakeside
What a beautiful home and setting. The home is gorgeous, well appointed, organized, including terrific spaces indoors and out. The outdoor patio and hot tub accommodates a terrific experience outdoors in addition to the boathouse and dock, allowing one to park their boat there without having to trailer it back-and-forth. Highly recommended for those that want to spend time in a beautiful setting on Lake, Bob Sandlin.

The property was just as described. Our family stayed over the Labor Day weekend. The view of the lake was gorgeous. Spent a lot of time on the lake and playing games outside. Would definitely recommend.

This home is wonderfully appointed and though new looks very well maintained! right on the water with a boat dock you can pop across the cove to check out night life at Barefoot Bat Marina too!

Beautiful home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This new home is beautiful and they did an exceptional job in construction, design, and finish out. They did a very nice job with making sure the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. There were only six of us in our group, but the home would certainly accommodate a larger group. The dock/boat house is also top notch. The property manager was exceptional when we had questions. A couple of things to prepare for and/or know in advance: The back of the house faces west so you have to be prepared for the evening sun, but that is understood if you’re from Texas. 🌞 If you happen to be bringing your boat with you, we recommend that you launch it at the marina which is right there in the same cove before coming to the house. The driveway is long, steep and narrow with gravel and sand, and not conducive to pulling a boat in or out. We have rented many homes on Bob Sandlin, and this one will certainly be on our list to come back to!

Incredible home and property
This is a beautiful home and property. The listing does not do it enough justice. The lakefront location was awesome and the house had everything we ever could have wanted. Large kitchen with plenty of dishes and space. Beds and bedding were great. So many extra things at this property made it amazing, like remote shades, great decor and amenities. Management company was easy to work with on a couple small items. This is by far one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed at.
