“It's a nice place to be close to the beach without spending a fortune. Nice pool and hot tub and. The ac worked well and was much appreciated in 100 degree weather. The communal microwave on each floor instead of each room was a little weird but no big deal. Overall very nice stay.”

“We’ve been coming to the carousel for over 25 years. The last two years we had zero Internet access and last year I was forced to drive all the way to Best Buy to get a 3G/4G modem that hunters and people in remote areas use to be able to have Internet access. My wife and I both work remotely so this was like a getaway and a working vacation but every time we were in the room or anywhere near the room, we had zero signal and had to travel to different places to gain Internet access. “The hotel was generally clean but they didn’t clean our room during our stay. There was no trash can on the room, there was only one in the restroom. On 3rd floor hall, you can smell a weird smell probably related to the ice maker machine. The breakfast was good the first morning as there are a lot of people there. The next day, as some people left, some of the breakfast items were left too! The first staff we met when we arrived was helpless and she even refused to say hello, but the one we saw……

“Staff was hard to locate there often wasn’t anyone at the front desk. There is only an indoor pool at the property and the water was quite cloudy. The rooms are spacious, however housekeeping is only upon request no matter how short or long your stay. The large Restaurant schooners is very underutilized as it’s only open for breakfast and the service was very slow. The only on-site dinner options are all fried bar food, however the quesadillas were delicious. The weather during our trip was……

“It is a older property but has been partially upgraded. Bathroom to small. Aircondition/heater was in the wrong place. It did not work very well and very noisy. Advertised as two queen beds but the beds were only full size and extremely hard to sleep on.”
