"Maya is a great place to stay and their restaurant is the best! Try the peanut brittle pie (homemade from scratch) when you go there as I've never had a better dessert. The pie is a legend in Belize as well as all their other fabulous food and bakery goods. A true Belize getaway, simple and fun. ..."

"We really loved the Pointe House. Gorgeous flowers everywhere. Gracious host Rosa. But for us in the 70 lane, the furnishings were not very comfortable for our aging bodies. I also would have appreciated a small welcome basket offering bottled water, some fresh fruit and a couple muffins or pastries ..."
