"We are in love with Miner's Cabin! At first, it was a little disorienting for us because it was a new area of Placerville that we hadn't experienced. However, it just took about 2 seconds and we fell head over heels. The property is meticulous and the hosts are accommodating yet allow you all the space you need to feel like you're home. The horses and the chickens, are great, but the special little sitting areas and the water lily pond felt like heaven. We can't wait to go back."

"The house is nicely layed out for a large family or in our case two couples with kids. Tripple bed in kids room with space to play was great. Took a min to figure out the heating system and gas fireplace but was warm and cozy. It is 50 min depending on trafic to the ski hill and worked great for our needs. "

"We were amazed by how clean and well stocked this house was. Everything we could have needed or wanted was there! And the host was super responsive and helpful. The parking can be tricky, but I think the information in the property description does a great job of letting you know what to expect ahead of time. If I had one suggestion for improvement it would be to replace the mattresses on the beds. We all felt that they were not the most comfortable."

"We may find a reason to visit Auburn just to return to this cabin. It was so relaxing to enjoy the nature from the beautiful deck. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the toilet seat. The finish is rubbing off and it was a little off putting. It's not an expensive change but would make a big difference. Highly recommend this rental!"
