“Pool lovely - not the one advertised on booking photos. Lovely chalet room - again not what I was expecting when booking. Check in wasn't clear as was in a completely different building. Good location and great room but not what I was expecting when booking. ”

“Positives: Location next to a forest which is perfect for dog walks. I received a room upgrade, which was a nice touch. Negatives: The spa area did not feel very hygienic. If you only plan to use the sauna it might be fine but I wouldn’t recommend the rest. The hotel is a bit further from the center and ski lifts. It’s not far but you definitely notice it when carrying heavy luggage or skis. Breakfast had quite limited options, with no warm food available (unless you boil eggs……

“When making the booking, we paid extra for bed linen and towels. Upon arrival, neither bed linen nor towels were present in the apartment, which we immediately reported to you. Unfortunately, it took a long time before we received any response. When you eventually replied, you acknowledged that the ordered bed linen and towels could not be delivered due to problems with your vehicle. We were then asked to solve the problem ourselves by renting linen elsewhere in town, which we find completely……

“Kamer perfect. Ideaal om in het centrum van Bourg St Maurice te verblijven. Alles op wandelafstand (station, funiculaire). Ik kende het hotel van vroeger (ik kom er al 30 jaar) en de recente verbouwing is upgrade !!!”

“Fantastic place, really friendly staff, excellent room with nice shower and comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend this place. Quick to the train station, only a few minutes away and not far from the funicular (which, if you're skiing runs before the ski lifts so from the hotel you can still get first lifts onto your mountain). Bourg is a lovely place.”
