「This beautiful villa is a hidden gem. The little village is so gorgeous. The drive up through the olive orchard is stunning. We never tired of the view. The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. 」

「Voula, the host, is lovely, very friendly and helpful. We visited early in May, so the pool was still cold, but the garden surroundings in which it sits was a delight. There is a really sweet tabby cat that sits on the patio wall and wishes to be friends with you. Be kind to her and put out a little water (and maybe some food?). She will reward you tenfold.Pigi, the village is full of helpful people and it is easy to catch the bus at the far end of the village into Rethymno and from there, on...

Was...

「Overall the villa is nice but it’s a bit tired and could do with some updating. The pillows were really uncomfortable and there were no bowls at all for breakfast cereal etc. I don’t think the pool is cleaned enough, two out of the three of us have ear infections which may well be a result of swimming in it. As for the villa owner, Stefanos was very nice and always responded when I texted him. The dogs next door were barking a lot at night, sometimes continually which is hard to sleep through. I...

「This home was perfect for me and my family. It was my wife and I with our two kids and our parents. So having the two attached villas right next to each other was ideal. Tons of space and bedrooms for everyone! - The two plunge pools were great for cooling off and the views from all of the decks and terraces are better in person than in the pictures. Easy check in and check out with our crazy schedules. Highly recommend!!!」
