The managing host was friendly, organized and a very knowledgeable resource to guide us and help plan daily activities (thank-you so much!). All the staff were friendly. Having access to a shared outdoor kitchen was a surprise and extremely useful. Breakfast was made fresh and on-time, coordinated to details such as tour departures. We were disappointed with the general service, particularly in the hotels restaurant. We booked a table on the first evening and it wasn't ready when we arrived, with the staff seeming stressed at our arrival. We were sat down 15 minutes late and the food took over an hour to arrive, during which time we were not visited once by the staff...

「Really great staff who really know the area and cultivate the farm. They can give you information on ecology you won't find outside of guided tour groups in the park, and there's also yoga. The property is beautiful and it is easy to see birds. It is a pretty primitive property and so you should be expecting bug bites and no modern comforts. Bathing in rainwater is amazing, but it is also not warm. Also the ants really bite- I was itchy for a week afterward. So be careful. 」

This hotel is NOT near the beach or trailhead as stated when we booked on Hotels.com (hopefully this will be corrected), in fact it will cost you 10,000cr ($16+ USD) round trip for a taxi if you don't have your own vehicle - if you do, it needs to be a 4X4 as the road is steep, rough, unpaved, and has a river crossing.
