All good and relaxing except the fact that mobiles do not work inside the house. So you should go out and walk outside the walls when you need to call.

Ruhe und Erholung in traumhafter Umgebung

Der Empfang durch Lucia war sehr herzlich, sie führte uns zur Wohnung und half uns auch mit dem Gepäck. In der vollausgestatteten Wohnung war alles für uns vorbereitet auch der Ofen und Kamin. Lucia ist eine ausgezeichnete Fremdenführerin und versorgte uns mit vielen Ausflugstips. Die Wohnung liegt sehr schön und ruhig zwischen kleinen Gassen im mittelalterlichen Teil von Breglia. Im benachbarten Hotel Breglia ist es möglich zu frühstücken und abends die gute italienische Küche zu genießen. Wir können das Restaurant zu 100 Prozent empfehlen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden sicher wiederkommen. Wir reisten mit Hund, der sehr willkommen war - es war sogar ein Trinknapf für unsere Fellnase vorbereitet. Vielen Dank Lucia für deine Gastfreundschaft.

The hosts were incredibly helpful with the sights and hotspots of the location. They let me know about the deep history of the location and they offered to pick me up from the bus station since I arrived after the final bus. They were amazing and made my stay so easy and stress free :)

Tolle Wohnung, host Lucia top-bringt nur als Beispiel Schubkarre für den Transport der Koffer usw. zur Wohnung, gibt infos ohne Ende, perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Seerundfahrten, oder wie auch immer, also nur zu empfehlen, falls die Wohnung im Stock darüber nicht besetzt ist hört man sich atmen, sonst nichts - unglaublich.

Vielen Dank an Lucia, die uns sehr herzlich empfangen hat und viele hilfreiche Informationen für einen ausgefüllten Urlaub parat hatte. Die Ferienwohnung bietet ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war sehr sauber und bot ausreichend Platz für zwei Erwachsene und zwei Hunde. Wir haben absolut nichts vermisst und Lucia ist eine ganz liebe und fröhliche Gastgeberin.

Traumhafter Urlaub mit Hund

Wir verbrachten eine traumhafte Woche in Lucias Wohnung. Lucia ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die uns viele wertvolle Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung gegeben hat und uns viele interessante Anekdoten zur Geschichte des Ortes und der Umgebung erzählt hat. Breglia ist ein süßes originäres ital . Dörfchen, von dem man direkt viele schöne Wanderausflüge unternehmen kann. Der Ort ist sehr ruhig und ein wenig abgeschieden, dafür wird man mit der Ruhe und tollen Ausblicken belohnt. Die Fahrt an den Comer See dauert ca. 15 min. Die Wohnung in dem Steinturm hat uns sehr gut gefallen und ist ausreichend ausgestattet und war sehr sauber. Lucia ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns hat besonders gut gefallen, dass wir auch mit dem Hund sehr willkommen waren und danken Lucia für einen wundervollen Urlaub und auch für die nette Kommunikation vor und nach dem Urlaub. All ihre Tipps waren sehr hilfreich.

Medieval treasure for peace and fresh air.

This was a magical place, and exactly the little hide-away we needed! A bar, pizza, good dinner was all there was to be had, besides the most fantastic surroundings for hiking, resting...yet close to Menaggio, the lake, great restaurants, fun shops and...fresh bread! The apt was small, cozy, included everything you could need. But above all it was Lucia who 'made our day' with her hearty welcome, the history, the delightful preparations and certainly excellent choice of wine. Highly recommended!! Be prepared for a 'breathless' hike up and view...but you're 700 years back in time..with all the 'comforts of home'.

Wir verbrachten eine sehr angenehme Woche Anfang Oktober in Breglia. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und wir bekamen gleich ein paar Tipps inkl. liebevoll selbstgemalter Karten. Außerdem fanden wir herrliche Trauben und das Kaminholz schon aufgebaut vor. Die Architektur des Turms sorgt dafür, dass es in der Wohnung recht kühl und dunkel ist. Die Kälte lässt sich aber mit dem Pelletofen auf amüsante Art vertreiben. Ohne Zentralheizung zu sein ist eine schöne Erfahrung. Und wer enge Gassen liebt darf zu dunklen Wohnungen nicht Nein sagen. Man kann es mit dem Feuer sehr gemütlich haben. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist vollkommen in Ordnung, das W-Lan schwächelt etwas, was aber Leuten, die gerne auf Zentralheizung verzichten, nichts ausmacht. In Erinnerung wird uns der Umstand bleiben, dass man nicht hört, wenn die Haustüre auf ist. Das viele Mauerwerk der Umgebung schluckt die letzten paar Geräusche des verschlafenen Dörfchens. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und raten allen, die auf Ruhe und Steine stehen, entschieden zu.

Lucia was a wonderful host! She picked me up in Menaggio as there were no taxis. As soon as we got to the house she shared maps, guides and tips of things to do in the region. Her advice made the stay so much more enjoyable. The tower was fun to stay in. Lots of character, clean and comfortable. Breglia was a nice small village. The hikes, views and boat rides were amazing. I highly recommend a visit.

Alles Prima!!! Sehr Empfehlenswert!!!

Wir waren sowohl von dem steingemauertem Turm in dem urigen Bergdorf sehr angetan, sowie von der herzlichen Art unserer Vermieterin Lucia Sala! Im gemütlichen Apartment war alles vorhanden und den Tag auf der sonnigen Terrasse mit Kaffee zu starten und am Abend am Kaminfeuer ausklingen zu lassen war wunderbar! Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 20 min in Menaggio am See und von da aus steht einem alles offen! Lucia hat uns wertvolle Tips gegeben bezüglich Ausflüge Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Ausserdem liegen noch zahlreiche Infoblaetter in der Wohnung bereit! Was wir gerne empfehlen wollen ist einen Ausflug ans nördliche Ende des Sees zum Naturschutzgebiet ' Riserva Pian di Spagna '. Von Dascio gibt es einen wunderschönen Wanderweg zur Kapelle San Fedelino mit mehreren tollen Aussichtspunkten auf den unten gelegenen Lago di Mezzola! Da wir im April da waren war es durch die dicken Steinwände noch recht kühl in der Wohnung, wodurch der Kaminofen noch besser zur Geltung kam. Trotzdem würde ich beim nächsten mal, für die Nacht, meinen Daunenschlafsack mitnehmen. Andererseits ist es im Sommer bestimmt herrlich, aus der Hitze, in das kühle Haus zu kommen!

Super!!!

Der Turm ist ein Traum mit allem was mann benötigt. Möchte jemand ein ruhiges altes Italienisches Dorf in den Bergen kennenlernen , dann auf nach Breglia. Wanderwege , Bergtouren und Badeurlaub sind kein Problem, solange mann mobil ist, Lucia ist wirklich sehr herzlich und lieb. Sie ist sofort bereit bei Problemen zu helfen und gibt immer gute Tips . Wir können diese Unterkunft nur sehr empfehlen.

Medieval bliss in a beautiful village.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in the tower. Breglia is a stunning location high above the tourist town of Menaggio on Lake Como - You will require your own transport to stay in this village but its well worth the effort and you will be rewarded with comfortable accommodation and a very warm welcome from Lucia. Some great relatively easy walking can be enjoyed locally with the best views in the area or if you wish take a boat ride to some of the more main stream tourist areas on Como. You are close to the Swiss border and if your up for a drive check out the Splugen Pass which is stunning and return via San Bernardino Pass. If your happy to shop locally for supplies in Menaggio the tower has a well equipped kitchen. Great week away, nice location, good fun and a big thanks once again to Lucia. Hope to visit again in the future. Oh one last thing don't miss the chance to walk to Rifugio Menaggio it's well worth a few hours during your stay.

Merveilleux

Séjour fantastique à Plesio! Arrivés tard à l'aéroport de Milan, Lucia nous a gentiment attendus Et le lendemain matin, elle nous a donné beaucoup d'infos sur les balades/visites à faire aux alentours Breglia est le point de départ de nombreuses randonnées => facilité L'appartement était conforme aux attentes, très propre, au calme,.... Parfait, parfait, parfait!!!!

Lovely little apartment in stunning setting

Breglia is set in beautiful scenery in the hilltops overlooking Lake Como, with a stunning vista across the lake to Bellagio just 15/20 minutes walk through the woods from the village. The tower apartment has everything you need and Lucia is very friendly and welcoming with a wealth of advice and tips. We had a lovely holiday there and would recommend it without hesitation.

Fijne vakantiewoning in sfeervol bergdorp

Lucia is een goede gastvrouw. Het mailcontact van tevoren was heel fijn. Evenals de ontvangst. Lucia geeft veel informatie over de omgeving en spant zich in om het haar gasten naar de zin te maken. Ze spreekt vloeiend Engels. Het appartement was netjes en schoon. De bedden in de slaapkamer zijn prima, de bedbank lag iets minder fijn. De Wifi was zeer goed, daar waren onze tienerzoons erg blij mee:) Het dorpje ademt de sfeer van vroeger, de mensen zijn er gemoedelijk. Heerlijk om na een dag aan het (naar verhouding) drukkere Comomeer in het dorpje 'thuis te komen'. De wandeling naar het witte kerkje boven het dorp is een aanrader. Het pad is makkelijk en de wandeling neemt maar een minuut of 10 in beslag. Het uitzicht over het meer is daar prachtig! Ook het eten in het enige restaurant van het dorp is een ervaring op zich.
