“This place is much nicer than the photos. It’s well appointed with lots of supplies—spices, toilet paper, even fishing rods. It’s very comfortable and the lake is beautiful. I only had one issue which is that the thermostat is locked at 75; you can temporarily lower the AC, but then it’ll bounce back to 75. This type of house is not terribly well insulated. Even in February that can be a bit too warm; I would hesitate to rent this place in the summer because of this issue. I would rather have……

“Property owner didn't know we were staying at the property since she "hadn't communicated with VRBO in a long time". The cabin had not been cleaned. The caretaker changed the bedding but that was all. My husband cleaned the bathroom. We were told the water was under a boil restriction. I wonder if it's always under a boil restriction. We were provided a few bottles of water. The window air unit dripped so we had to keep a bowl under it. The location was nice with only the caretaker house near.”

“We had such an incredible stay here honestly one of the most peaceful getaways we’ve had in a long time. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and exactly as described if not better. The modern farmhouse style is done so well everything feels brand new, clean, and thoughtfully put together while still keeping that cozy country charm.One of our favorite parts was just sitting outside and taking it all in. There were cows grazing nearby and at night the sky was unreal so many stars you just don’t see……
