“This was a stunning castle to stay in. The frescoed ceilings were gorgeous. Loved every minute that we were there. The staff were wonderful. The only thing i would recommend is to add a vending machine and maybe to offer pastries in thr morning. ”

“We had an amazing time at this gorgeous villa! This was by far the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed at and I would give it 10 stars if I could. The beautiful location was perfect for all our day trips to the many medieval towns and area activities. The host Barbara was incredible and prepared delicious dinners and breakfasts for us on the terrace overlooking breathtaking views of San Gimignano. The meals were prepared with fresh ingredients from their own crops and better than any restaurants……

“We stayed at Villa Carnicelli to celebrate my wife's birthday with a group of our friends. It was a wonderful weekend thanks to the amazing property and the fantastic hosts - Francesca and her parents. The house itself is renovated to such a high standard, with beautiful rooms and surroundings. Francesca and her family helped to make our stay extra special, we loved the amazing dinner for my wife's birthday and the pasta making class. We hope to return in the future to enjoy this beautiful villa……

“In a word - Perfection. Everything about our stay was outstanding. Alessandro was there anytime we had a question, both before we arrived and during our stay. The views are more stunning than the photographs. The villa itself was everything that we needed and exactly as advertised. The kitchen was equipped and allowed us to make a wonderful dinner, using local ingredients from the Thursday market in addition to being able to prepare our breakfasts each morning. The bedrooms and bathrooms……

“Our 5 days stay in this house was above our expectations. Franco, the owner was incredibly helpful and since it was a birthday celebration he was especially attentive. The rooms are large and airy with comfortable beds, amazing garden and great and clean pool. The agency that rents out is professional, quick to respond and very helpful.And - the chefs they provided to us were the best we have experienced in terms of taste, setting, and cleaning. We will happily return here!!”

“We had a wonderful stay in Valgiano! Unfortunately it was cut short by a problem with our rental car, but the 4 days we spent there were wonderful. The highlights were the tour of the hillside villages with Giovanni and the meal that Monica served us. ”

“Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum verweilen. Hier kann man wortwörtlich die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir würden mehr als 5 Sterne geben, wenn wir könnten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Es ist wahnsinnig liebevoll mit vielen kleinen Details eingerichtet. Dazu ist der Pool mit der Aussicht einfach das I-Tüpfelchen oben drauf. Auch ist Marilia eine wahnsinnig zu vorkommende Persönlichkeit. Wir haben uns durch ihre liebevolle Art und Weise gleich wohl gefühlt. Auch hat sie sich Zeit genommen……

“Wir haben eine traumhafte Woche verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr schön, ruhig gelegen, gutes WLAN, fußläufig zum Ort, wir haben das Auto unten stehen gelassen und den steilen Weg vermieden (so schlimm ist der allerdings gar nicht), der Pool ist grandios, sehr sauber mit wunderschöner Aussicht, die Betten bequem. Zwei Hängematten zwischen Olivenbäumen perfekt zum relaxen. Die Stühle auf der Terrasse sind leider nicht sehr bequem, die Küche nur ok ausgestattet, es waren keinerlei Gewürze,……
