Location!! Location!!

On the beach with beautiful view and easy access to beach. Short drive to historic St Augustine. Restaurants and food shopping close. Spacious home with the best kitchen! Had chilly weather and really appreciated the great supply of blankets. Home was very clean.

Great location. Accurate description of space, but some inaccuracies and outdated

The location is perfect. The property needs some TLC inside and out. The front deck(Western for sunsets) was out of order, which would have been OK if they had let us know ahead of time. We were planning on taking photos out there. Additionally, a repair man showed up with no warning during our stay. The icemaker was not functioning properly. And overall the property does need some TLC and updating. Location is great! The amount of space besides the front deck was accurately described. Thank you.

Loved this home

My family loved this home and we would definitely stay here again. Great location - seemingly in the middle of Ponte Vedra and St. Augustine. It is very spacious and so close to the sand/ocean. There are many beach chairs and towels so that was a nice touch.

Girls' Trip

Lovely property with a huge kitchen great for having numerous people prepping and cooking! Beds were ALL very comfortable ensuring everyone slept well the entire week. Access to the beach was phenomenal, and both outdoor areas were well appointed and just the spot for enjoying a cocktail while chatting or reading. Great for napping too!

Gorgeous place!!! Beautiful ocean view and access to the beach. Perfect beach for shell collectors. House is very convenient to the attractions in St. Augustine. Highly recommend this place for the MOST AMAZING and relaxing beach vacation!

Great for our group trip

We stayed for a long weekend and loved how quiet the beach - private access, no cars. Beds were comfortable, and three of the rooms face the ocean. Plenty of beach towels and several beach chairs. We didn't cook much (apart from the grill) but there are several dining and to-go options nearby. We hope to return next year!

Fun at the BEACH HOUSE

The beach house was extensive, with plenty of space to move around and have a great time. The only thing I didn't like was the giant cockroaches-there were three big roaches. The other issue I had was that the TV in the family room did not work. What I loved and was relaxing was the sound of the ocean. Thanks

Ponte Vedra Beach stay

Our stay at American Sands was great. The location of the house was perfect. The beach was uncrowded due to its location. It was like having your own private beach. Very close to St. Augustine for restaurants and shopping. Would definitely return.

Wonderful Beach House

We brought one of our daughters, son- in-law, and their 2 children to this place for a brake from the winter weather up-north. The accommodations we excellent, comfortable beds, upscale furniture and only 20 yards or less to the beach. We had an amazing time, and I recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for a great week!

Beautiful view and beach access

Overall the property was beautiful and the access to the quiet beach was superb. There were some small household issues that have an easy fix once addresses by management.

Great location and view

Property was very nice with a spectacular view. House could have been cleaned better. And had some issues like running toilet, broken door handles and beach chairs, some amenities that were listed were not there like hairdryer and iron and we had to buy a corkscrew. Otherwise house was in a great location and can't beat the oceanfront view.

Lots of Maintenance Issues

We have stayed in this area for spring break numerous times. This is the most disappointing rental we’ve had. There were numerous maintenance issues that need to be addressed. When contacting Vacasa, a “ticket” was sent to the local maintenance team. After 24 hours of no response, I asked for an expected response timeframe, and was told they didn’t know when maintenance would contact us. Well, after five days, and checking out, we never got a response from maintenance. I wonder if the renters leave, if they get to close the ticket. For future renters here are the broken/not usable items: - Main TV remote is broken. Since it’s a firestick, it makes the TV unusable. There was black masking tape on the back, so I assume it’s been broken awhile. - Dryer door handle is broken - Ice maker is broken, and 2 mini ice cube trays - All of the writing is missing from the cooktop. So you have no idea which burner is turning on, or what temperature. - The grill is rusted through and has no gas - They have the cheapest single cup Keurig machine, not a coffee pot - No pot holders or trivets - No rugs near the doors from the beach side to wipe off sand, or if not, a full size broom to sweep up sand afterwards - main bed broke, slat came out twice - spare room bed broken underneath on one side -upstairs shower only gets hot water at halfway point - extremely limited number of cooking utensils (spatulas, serving spoons, tongs) - every light switch has handwritten Sharpie labels

Beautiful Location & Amazing Views

The house is in a wonderful location, so close to the beach with no cars on the beach so very peaceful. We truly enjoyed our stay. HOWEVER the front screen porch is currently missing screen and railing which was not noted in the description & there was broken glass in that area. Very unsafe I feel like this is an important that should have been noted that is was under sonstruction. Also the beds are good but in at least 2 rooms not sure if it is the frame or headboard but if you barely move at all it is very noisy which definitely impacted sleep for the guests.Fix these issues and I would definitely return.

Great Location. Bad TV situation

There is no TV service available. We understood that we had to log into our own streaming services but either because of there was no remote for the Firestick or connecting through a laptop required specialized cables, we were not able to connect to even the most basic TV service. We called the property manager and they were not provided with any additional information from the owners. We were there to attend the Players Championship and would have enjoyed watching a little bit of the tournament on the days we did not attend. It’s too bad that an overall nice house and great location became more of a soured experience due to the lack of information and/or equipment.
