"So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant). "The room we had (standard double) was large enough and of good quality with complimentary water. We stayed for 2 days and opted out of daily clean in place of £15 worth of drink vouchers for the bar. Staff were lovely, though there was no one around at all when we arrived at 1pm - so a poor first impression. Food was excellent. Drink prices seemed excessive tbh. Main issue was parking - they claim to have 10 spaces but realistically can get 7 cars in - no room left to open your car door to get...

"Absolutely fine, was welcomed by a thoroughly nice chap who checked us in etc. Room was up in the rafters but was nice, comfortable bed and a magnificent bathtub. Spent an hour in the bar and enjoyed that, drinks were reasonable price and it seemed to be quite full. Had to leave at 06:00 to catch ferry so didn’t eat breakfast. Only negative was the toilet seat was quite loose and I felt a little uneasy sitting on the pan, expecting it to slip off at any second. Absolute not a show-stopper...

"Room was comfortable however the seagulls kept us awake every morning from 5am walking on the roof (Room5) There were a couple of examples where ingredients listed for food items on the menu were left out, proving to be a disappointment for some dishes. The gnocchi didn't have any chestnuts, The pancakes didn't have coconut yoghurt for example. More vegetarian options would have been welcomed."

"We really enjoyed this hotel. We took our twin baby boys on their first trip away and it was so easy. The 2 beds in the family room made it so effortless. The breakfast was fantastic, being vegetarian, breakfast can always be bland for us in hotels but the options were some of the best we’ve had and they tasted so fresh. We’ll be coming back, even if it’s just for the breakfast. "
