Poole Romantic Hotel

"Had a lovely pleasant stay. Had a very welcoming experience from the owner who seemed genuinely pleased to see us. Gave us all the information we needed and showed us to our room. The room was immaculately clean and very spacious, as was the en-suite. Breakfast was an abundance of fresh yoghurt, pastries, cheeses and cereals. Hot tea and coffee with crumpets, toast etc. would definitely recommend and we will stay again. "

"I run a hospitality business, so I thought long and hard before leaving even the slightest negative feedback for this hotel. It still deserved a 4, but could so easily have been a 5. The location is superb, can’t fault that. Period building, really well presented, superb artwork, great décor, very French in character. There were however two points that really did take the shine off a £300 plus night stay. The first was the parking signage. The signs stated “Resident parking only”, the sort of...

"Lovely stay - the views made it so book a room with a view if you can! Staff were excellent, food was also very good. Breakfast in particular was lovely and high quality."

"Room was comfortable however the seagulls kept us awake every morning from 5am walking on the roof (Room5) There were a couple of examples where ingredients listed for food items on the menu were left out, proving to be a disappointment for some dishes. The gnocchi didn't have any chestnuts, The pancakes didn't have coconut yoghurt for example. More vegetarian options would have been welcomed."

"Waiter /waitress were overall unfriendly. They look liked being unhappy to be working in this hotel. Breakfast room was dirty especially plinth along windows. The overall state of the hotel including furnishing, fabric and furniture looked dated. "
