“Excellent property, great location. Perfect for family of 4 with beautiful beaches nearby. Only improvement would be changing the check in arrangements as you have to drive into the centre of Bournemouth first and there was very parking to collect the keys before driving onto the property. Perhaps consider a key safe?”

“Great location, with everything you need very close Flat is nice could do with a lick of paint to smarten it up but I appreciate its the busy season. Kids loved the bunk beds. Main bedroom the bed is small but its not the end of the world”

“This property is a lovely little cottage perfect for a couple or small family (max 4 people). It is in a great location in the old town of Poole, it is 1 minute from the harbour and restaurants. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. The stairs are steep, as others have noted, but that wasn’t a problem for us and made the place even more charming.”

We stayed as a family of 6 to visit the area. Each room was spacious and inviting. We used it as our base to visit the surrounding area - Corfe Castle to Studland Bay. The property manager was easy to communicate with from the very beginning.”

“The owner was incredibly helpful and we valued his knowledge of the surrounding area/facilities-he was also available if required. Great to have parking and a short walk to Sandbanks beach and Ferry to Shell Island-glorious!! Our dog was in heaven!! Spacious property with everything we needed. I could have lived there forever! Highly recommend this property for an excellent base to explore Bournemouth and Poole-we had a truly perfect holiday even though the weather was...VERY British!!”

“This property was absolutely fantastic. It had everything you needed plus more, to have a great stay. Its in a great location. Very clean, we were shown around and told we only need to knock next door if we had any problems. We didnt. Bueatiful space outside with tables and chairs and a lovely fish pond. We made use of their games on our last night. Which had us all in stitches. We get together for a long weekend every year. We have beeb using Vrbo since we started doing this in 2018. We have……

“The cottage is lovely. I was a little surprised/disappointed by the close proximity of other houses as the pictures make it look quite rural. A good sized cottage with a beautiful garden leading out onto a recreation ground which was ideal for the children and walking the dogs. The cottage was well equipped and spacious with modern amenities including a lovely coffee machine and range cooker. Unfortunately there were somethings that we felt could be improved on. “The room we had (standard double) was large enough and of good quality with complimentary water. We stayed for 2 days and opted out of daily clean in place of £15 worth of drink vouchers for the bar. Staff were lovely, though there was no one around at all when we arrived at 1pm - so a poor first impression. Food was excellent. Drink prices seemed excessive tbh. Main issue was parking - they claim to have 10 spaces but realistically can get 7 cars in - no room left to open your car door to get……

“There has bit conflict with hotel when we check in, we through Hotel.com booking 1 room 3 adults 2 nights but the hotel tell us the room is for 2 adults & 1 child under 12, we need tp pay extra 30P fro 1 night. I spend more than1 hours with IDD, email to contact Hotel.com hotline ask for assistant but he reply me to pay extra 60P to hotel, I don't agree & the Hotel.com staff need to seek for Manager advice but finally no reply from Hotel.com. Last we talk to hotel senior staff & finally no need……

“You can't beat the location of Sandbanks hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. I would not go into the swimming pool again as I found it very difficult to get in and out via the awful metal steps. As most of the guests were elderly I doubt if any of them would use the pool. The Haven pool is much safer with wide steps.”
