「Older property showing some wear and tear. Check in wasn’t too great, as we waited over 20 minutes with no one at the desk and were continually told they were having a busy day. While that’s okay, an option to leave our bags would have been nice. The staff acted a bit annoyed (two people separately) when I asked to check in, but the manager who eventually came was kind and helpful. The room was very warm (early August) with no cross breeze. 「We liked the terrace with its view over the duck pond. We enjoyed the breakfast and also the evening meal was good and the service excellent. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom well planned out.」

「a farmhouse, you can feel the humidity of the stone wall room, a bit too dark inside the room, but general acceptable beautiful environment, you can enjoy a very good countryside view (inc the corfe castle ruins), if you dont want to drive to the town to have lunch or dinner, you can enjoy the local meal at the farmhouse restaurant」

「An historc building that is in need of repair & updating. Plumbing, windows etc on the edge. Clean, tidy & friendly staff many of them novice. No air conditioning so rooms on floors 1 & 2 very hot for sleeping. Only a very Small parking area.」
