"Where do I begin? I had no idea I was booking the most gorgeous room in the most stunning building in a perfect location. Add to that an amazing staff! Shout out to Marin who greeted us at the old city’s gate and insisting on lugging our 4 large pieces to the hotel. Always a smile on his face, sweet, happy, and informative. The whole staff was great but unfortunately I don’t recall their names. I can’t wait to recommend to friends who are planning a trip to Croatia. ❤️"

"What an amazing place! I booked the Economy room, which was a side door on a street literally adjacent half way up the infamous GOT shame steps! The room was great for my needs and served its purpose as a place to crash after long days. The location is in the centre of everything to do and see! The staff were friendly, amazing and accommodating allowing me a late check-out. Would highly recommend, though it might not suit al tastes. "

"This was the first hotel I have stayed at on vacation where I did not want to leave the hotel. Usually a hotel is a place to sleep and shower for me. The design of the hotel is beautiful. The restaurants and bar were incredible. We had a super-romantic dinner with a table right on the water and live music. You can sunbathe and jump in the Adriatic from the beach deck. The service was incredible. Knowledgeable and friendly front desk staff and attentive room service. I cannot say enough about Hotel Excelsior"
