This place has it all. We loved our stay here. The location is beautiful and near Port Angeles and Olympic National Park. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. This house was a great communicator. The trails around the property were so nice. We enjoyed watching the sunset on a beautiful private beach . We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Excellent Stay

Property was excellent, super clean, comfortable, and quiet. The grounds were awesome and offered cliff side views of the strait, walking paths, and lots of wildlife.

A comfortable, well-appointed house in a quiet, serene setting - it was exactly what we wanted! We especially enjoyed the wildlife, including eagles and bats, but especially the deer who came right into the front yard while we sat and watched from only a few feet away. The enchanting path down to the private beach was beautiful as well. And Marjory was a kind and accommodating host. Thank you!

The beds were comfortable and the interior very clean with interesting asian decor. Our granddaughter loved the chicken coup. The path to the ocean was rugged but doable. The ocean overlook was beautiful. The family of deer that apparently lived on the farm were very entertaining. We wouldn't hestitate to stay there again!

Beautiful place to stay

The house is very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The grounds around the house are beautiful, with nature trails and deer. An easy drive to Port Angeles or into the mountains for hiking. We loved it.

We loved everything about this stay. We enjoyed having a trail down to the ocean and having the wildlife walking around the property. The proximity to Port Angeles was great for quick trips to the store. It had everything we were looking for.

Hunters Gate Farm was an exceptional place to stay. Nicely designed space, lovely grounds, near Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake Lodge, and within driving of the Hoh Rainforest. Enjoyed strolls on the beach, and sitting on the bluffs watch the ships pass. Highly recommend.

Wonderful house - spacious

The house was amazing, spacious, clean and well appointed. Couldn't see the ocean, but it was a short walk away. Amazing sunset views from that vantage point.

absolutely amazing property

We had a wonderful few days staying in the guest house. Our family spent several days exploring the nature trails and the beach - and especially enjoyed watching the resident deer with their playful fawns. House was very comfortable and had everything we expected to find. Would happily return!

Review of Hunters Gate Guest House

We had an excellent time staying at your guest house. The house and property exceeded our expectations! We love all the special touches that made our stay feel like home. Our first day we were greeted by a family of deer that continued every day and warmed our hearts. We also spotted an eagle in a tree out by the edge of the bluff, very cool! We spent most of our days in Olympic National Park, hiking and exploring. It was nice to come back after a long day of hiking to a home with a full kitchen, great showers, great beds, large screen TV and a large comfy couch to watch our favorite shows.We highly recommend this wonderful home to others who come to the see the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Spacious and well decorate, the home included all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. The property was gorgeous. As a local of this area on a staycation, I found the placement in town to be very convenient and loved being near the water. Highly recommended.

Perfect for Olympic Peninsula

This was one of our most favorite VRBO stays ever! The property and home are gorgeous with stunning views. The home is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We enjoyed using this as our base to discover the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula. The location is private, but close enough to Port Angeles to go in for food / shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grounds and guest home were very well maintained, the views were incredible, and it felt very peaceful and private. We enjoyed watching the deer stand on their hind legs and pick fruit and leaves from the tree in front of the guest house. Zero complaints.

Perfect for our extended stay

We escape to the PNW to visit family in the summer ever since we moved to FL. This location is easy, 2 hour access from Seattle, convenient to the many activities in the area; yet is secluded, quiet, and beautiful. We enjoyed having access to the beach for hikes, and our 2 year old grandson could walk the many trails on the property. My husband and I fed the chickens almost every morning, and the deer would take their naps in our front yard. If you are looking for a farm and beach experience, this property delivers. The home was well equipped, comfortable, and updated. We highly recommend booking this property and would stay again if in the area.

Farmhouse Revisit

We fell in love with this property in 2021and said we would be back some day. Memorial weekend 2024 was our some day! The farmhouse was just as it was the first time…EXCEPTIONAL! It was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable for our family of 5 adults. There was one issue with the charcoal grill missing one of the grates but a gas grill was also available so we used that. Words cannot express how relaxing this farmhouse is. Marjory, thank you for letting us stay here once again. Oh, and the brand new baby deer was a sweet surprise to see!!!

Idyllic Property with Wonderful Host

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Guest House. The house is very comfortable, with everything that you could ask for. The property is beyond amazing - with abundant wildlife, beautiful views of the ocean, and interesting trails. We saw so many deer (as many as 21), a wide variety of birds (wild and tame), and a river otter hunting in the shallow ocean water. There is ample space for outdoor activities such as frisbee and wiffle ball. It feels like a resort - but is so private. We spent 10 nights here - Margie checked in to ensure that everything was OK and to let us know we could contact her is we had any questions. The property has easy access to both Sequim and Port Angleles - only about 15 minutes to either. We also had good access to the majority of the Peninsula. We ranged from Hood Canal (1 hour) to Hoh Rain Forest and Cape Flattery (2 hours). Our favorite stops / activities (beyond our home base) included: Cape Flattery: amazing views - and puffins! Hurricane Ridge / Hurricane Hill Trail: wildlife and close views of the mountains Hood Canal Kayaking Next Door Gastropub (Port Angeles) - the poutine was our favorite dish Graymarsh Farm - wide variety of berries to pick We would love to visit again some day!

Lovely stay!

This guest house is wonderful! Great location between Sequim and Port Angeles and very nice and private. My kids enjoyed the herd of deer and visiting the chickens. The beach walk is an adventure but we loved it too! We’d love to come again!
