This was not as advertised. The picts on the site were definitely photo shopped and cleaned up because it looks so much older. Can tell it was built in the 60's.
Room was bare minimum. Bed, 2 pillows, bedside table with lamp. 2 usable plugs in the whole room 1 plug on side of room with no table or anything to put phones on to charge. Other plug had to unlpug light to use.
No rainhead shower like stated, no closet, small bar that held towels had to use for hanging clothes.
Small mini fridge.
TV was not connected to free WiFi so could not watch Netflix or even mirror app from phone. Channel kept going in and out and very limited on what can be watched on Dish.
For almost $500 for 2 nights I was expecting better. Not asking for the glam but some effort into making rooms enjoyable. Add a desk/chair, fix tv to be useable for streaming, add some kinda of decor-- a picture, sconces, something to make it feel a little more intentional.
Since there is NO fast food on this side of island consider adding food options like breakfast or happy hour nachos, taco bar, something. The restraunt selections are slim and they are packed with over an hour wait most of the time.
A little effort would go a long way.
Staff was friendly and room was clean. First checked into room with broken AC but i think they knew it bc there was a large oscillating fan bolted to wall. They quickly changed my room when I complained. Pool was green upon arrival but blue next morning.
No beach in sight.
