Guest's will love The Deck House and all the extra's that are provided. Get more privacy than a hotel room and for less money! Patio set and gas grill/griddle on the deck. Port, Clinton’s best kept secret

The location was great, the price was reasonable, and the apartment was clean and perfect with three separate bedrooms. The deck was a bonus! It was super hot when we were in Port Clinton over Labor Day weekend and that deck was so nice. There was a constant breeze, you could see the lake, and you just felt very relaxed and comfortable. I kind of like that the friendship food store was just a walk around the corner. It made it nice to get snacks, coffee, beer, anything you wanted and you didn’t have to drive for it. It is pretty centrally located as well., Near beaches, Jet Express, African Safari (which was very cool with the new dinosaur exhibit), anything you wanted to see, was just a stone’s throw away. Sheryl, our host was very helpful and we appreciate that she had this apartment for rent for our family, especially with all the recent flooding that Port Clinton experienced just prior to our stay.

My stay at The Gathering Place was so enjoyable. The home is clean and the hosts were beyond welcoming and helpful. Easy access to beaches (even a view of water from top porch deck!) and ferry. Highly recommend.

Cedar Point Trip

I reserved the Deck House for the days we spent at Cedar Point for my son's graduation. We had a lot of fun and the house was perfect. The boys had plenty of room to spread out and Cheryl was great to work with. She checked in with us multiple times throughout the trip to be sure we had everything that we needed. I will definitely consider staying here again if we visit the area again.

Well maintained and clean!

Highly recommend! Very clean. Includes everything you need! We had 2 families which included a 9 month and 4 yr old. No pool or beach onsight but short driving distance to either. Great communication with owner too! Very helpful!

2 of us stayed over Memor...

2 of us stayed over Memorial Day weekend, a Friday thru Sunday, It was very nice and clean. Sheryl, the owner was very cordial and overly helpful with local places to eat and places of interest around the bay. Highly recommend !! Close to lots of things, in between downtown and the bay. Next door is a gym you can get a daily rate to use.Can walk to a couple of places for food,jolly roger seafood for casual, right across the stret. also a quickie gas mart for milk or whatever nearby to stock your fridge a quick morning meal, before you head off.

We had a short break between my 2 boys baseball games and was able to stay for 3 nights/4days. The condo was spotless and very accommodating! The kitchen was fully stocked and Walmart and Kroeger was just down the road. We made most of our meals in the condo. The living room was a nice place to relax after a day of going to Cedar Point and swimming. Bathroom had great hot water supply for the 4 of us when taking showers. Beds were comfy with clean bedding. We watched the fireworks on the 4th from the balcony. Condo is close to Cedar Point (20 min), Kelly’s Island Ferry and the Africans Safari. Sheryl was VERY accommodating and prompt with answering all text messages. She was great to deal with! We will be back!

Camp Perry Regular

We stay at Suite Maries or the Deck whenever we can if we are at the Camp Perry National Matches/Camp Perry Open. Seems like each time we stay there is yet another upgrade to the property... new Washer/Dryer, big screen TV, remodeled entrance. We've been going there for at least 10 years and will continue to go.

The Deck house

Great location for a trip to the Islands or Cedar Point. Clean, has many items included to make your stay comfortable, plenty of towels, kitchen items etc. The beach is right down the street and you can see pretty sunsets. The pool access was a bit vague but we didn't use it, if a pool is important to you this may not be your place. If you are traveling with kids it is great to have separate bedrooms for them, my teen and preteen loved that. Over all a nice big place at a fair price. I would stay here again, easy communication with owners as well.

Great location right on the main road right next to convient store. Close to park and beach. Very nice house with everything you need. Comfortable beds and space.
