Prior to your arrival
Please let us know how many people will be joining you. If you are over the amount allowed we will not be able to have you stay at our property. We will have people checking this for us because the fines are quite high. If rules are broken, we will ask you to leave the property and no refunds will be issued. If by-law fines for any infractions, the fines to the cottage renter and owner will be paid for by the cottage renter since you were made aware of the restrictions.

Checkin Process
Checkin: check in anytime after 3pm :)
On arrival at the Sherkston gate, please provide your name and our location number (49 Eberly Woods). You will be given a package with everything you need for your stay.
We will provide you with a code for the keypad on the day of your arrival.
Please check to ensure nothing is broken upon check in
Once checked in absolutely ZERO refunds will be issued
Kitchen
We have dish soap & garbage bags for your use. If something is running low, please let us know so we are able to refill for the next guests or bring you what you need.
Please put kitchen items back where you found them.
Bedrooms
Bedding: you will need bedding (sheets, pillow cases & bed coverings) for the following bed sizes: 1 - Double & 4 - Singles
Laundry Room
There is a laundry facility on the property but not in the trailer
Smart TV/WIFI
Remotes for TV are located by the TV.
WIFI - we have our own private wifi. See wifi instructions
Garbage
Garbage MUST be taken with you and put in the garbage bins (located all over the park). Failure to remove garbage will result in a $20 per bag fine.
General
If you break something, take something with you by mistake or something happens, please notify us right away. We would much rather hear from you than from our cleaner.
We provide 3 additional rolls of toilet paper aside from the one on the roll. Should you need more, please bring extra supply.
You will need to bring towels, hand towels and kitchen towels for your stay as we do not provide them.
Kleenex is also available.
Please remove shoes while in the cottage
Please treat our home like your own.
There can be noise from golf carts and other property owners. This is out of our control.
This is a trailer park and units will be close together.
There is a back patio door that was installed unless. This causes the one screen to have a ½” opening at the top. You can lock this door to prevent the gap.
Once checked in, absolutely ZERO refunds will be issued.
Cleaning fee is for a deep clean and disinfecting of the unit. Please ensure you leave the unit like you found it. If the cleaner has to do a clean above and beyond how you found it there will be a $250 loss of deposit.
NO PARTIES. If we get word from a neighbor that there has been a party you will lose your deposit and be removed immediately from the park.
NEW IN 2022 - there is a charge for access to the waterpark - passes can be purchased at the welcome center.
BEACHES
There are 5 different areas with beaches: Wyldewood, Sunset, Empire, Elco & Quarry
Sunset beach is closest to our property and is swimmable.
Empire beach has an undertow. There is a sign at the entry to both Sunset & Empire beach warning of this. Stay to the right and you will be on Sunset Beach with lots of others!
BBQ
Please ensure the BBQ is cleaned and the propane tank is turned off after each use. If BBQ is left a mess there will be a $150 charge to clean it that will be taken from your deposit.
Please bring in all BBQ cooking utensils & cedar scraper. These are to be kept in the kitchen drawer.
There is a spare tank beside the BBQ. If the propane runs out please let us know right away
Firepit
Fires are allowed but must be put out before going to bed. We will keep watch to see if there are any fire bans during your stay. If there are, fires are prohibited. We will notify you if there are any while you are there or if anything changes.
Firewood can be purchased in the park or along the roadside from a local seller.
Checkout Process
Checkout by 10am. Our cleaner will be there for 10am to start her day. If you know you will be leaving earlier than 10am please let me know as soon as possible so I can relay to our cleaner.
Late checkout fees will be applied for every 15 minutes after 10am a fee of $25 will be taken from your deposit.
Please clean and put away all dishes before leaving
Please double/triple check under beds & under furniture for any items that may be left behind. .
When you leave, please ensure all doors are locked, windows are closed and all lights/fans are turned off.
Please ensure keys are put back in the spot you got them from on arrival.
