“Cute little cottage, beautiful outdoor amenities. Had a couple issues with wifi/hot water, but was resolved very quickly by Henry. Would definitely stay again!”

“We loved the inside of the cottage, it was very clean and beautiful. It had a great view as you can see the lake from the dining table. Host was also helpful and provided us with plastic cups at our request, and gave us a tour. I would definitely recommend. ”

“Great quiet location away from the city. Cute little cottage - enough for a couple. Close to small town of Bala. Only issue was the heat in the living area. Need more heaters and blinds in the living room. ”

“We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. ”

Thankfully a neighbour had the host's number or we may not have gotten in! The staircase to the apt. is treacherous and the place had a musty odour. There was black mold in the closets and only bottom sheets on the beds. There was no page of information for the unit.The airconditioning worked well, as did the shower head. ”

“The cottage was absolutely perfect for our family of five (2 adults and 3 teenage boys). Everything in the listing was spot on — the property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable 7-day stay. “The property has everything you need and the host does everything to make your stay as welcoming as possible. You have to be aware the parking is tight but with cooperation from the neighbouring cottage and yourself it works fine. The dock is large and can handle a few boats but the water get shallow pretty fast.( end of dock 5 feet or 1.5M) There are plenty of supplies but we ran short of paper towels and just went and got some. There are some renovations happening now but don't interfere with……

“This place is a wonderful suburban jewel, located in a area of new construction, and is easily accessed from Highway 11. We were in town for a concert at Casino Rama and it was only a short drive between. The host was incredibly communicative, and answered questions before we came down, as well as offering support during our stay. The place is very clean and well maintained.
