Loved the place

The house was very very nice! Everything was there for a family of four. Definitely a place to come back to for us. The area is beautiful, especially the beach at St Joseph Bay. Pristine clear water, white sandy beaches and very clean. If you are looking for a tranquil vacation with sun, sand and sea this is the place!

We really like Barefoot Cottages

Minor issues were resolved with quick response. The area is within easy reach of downtown PSJ, Windmark, and the beaches. Cottage was clean and worked very well for our needs. Enjoyed TV time in the living room and the beds and bathrooms were A+. Would certainly stay here again.

Very Good

The home was very nice, clean, perfect location to everything in the area. everything you needed was provided EXCEPT an iron and ironing board which we had to buy at a local store. It was left in the unit, hopefully it will remain for future guests. Also, the mattress in the Master bedroom was awful, both sides had deep holes you would fall into...definitely time for a new mattress.

April Visit to Port St Joe

We were pleased with our stay. The house was great and the location was perfect. We do have a few suggestions to make the experience a bit better such as providing more wash cloths, provide at least two garbage bags for a week’s stay, get a dish strainer (it’ll make better for your renters and the owners), and provide hand towels for the 1st floor bathroom. Thanks!

Summer Vacation 2024

We enjoyed our stay at the Barefoot Community. It was the perfect location for our family, and we enjoyed our drive to Cape San Blas to hit the beach as well as the local shops and restaurants in Port St Joe. The community was quiet with a very relaxed, laid back atmosphere. The only complaint we had was the keypad at the gate - everytime we had to punch in the code to enter the gate, we got shocked ⚡️by the metal on the edge of the keypad. Definitely recommend having the community maintenance team check that out. Other than the gate keypad, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Overall Good Place to Stay

House was super nice and beds were extremely comfortable. Only negatives I have were no paper towels or extra trash bags. Other than that, wonderful place. Would definitely stay again!
