Quiet and Relaxing Spring Break

We usually frequent more populated areas of Florida on our spring breaks. However, we opted for a more laid-back experience this time and were not disappointed. This property offered everything we were looking for:. Well appointed kitchen with quality appliances and location is central to snack, shops, and the small grocery. Our teens enjoyed the paved run ning/ bike traill that run the length of the cape.

Great house!

Beautiful home and in a perfect location to see the beach and walk to it. Layout of home was perfect for 2 families, and a bonus having 2 master suites. We loved the back deck to sit outside and see the beach. Pool was nice, was not warm but kids loved it. Only thing I would suggest is better cooking pans, storage dishes, and more kitchen utensils.

Perfect spot! Amazing place. We loved it. It was a perfect location to access the beach and the bay! We will stay here again. Great house with great furnishing. Fantastic community.

The Lazy Turtle

The property was perfect for our family of 7. With a 4 year old and an infant, we were happy to be so close to beach and pool. The home was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! Suggestions: More dish towels in the kitchen. Two was not enough when cooking at the home.

Lovely home

Location is very nice although the beach tended to be crowded because it’s very narrow. It would be helpful to have had access to the downstairs space where the washer and dryer are instead of having to go outside and around to the side of the house with use of the elevator.

Great place; easy access to beach

Our stay was exceptional ; everything as advertised and more; ‘Boardwalk Access’ right next to house was amazingly easy and convenient (rent beach cart with credit that comes with this property; pretty much rolled itself down boardwalk to beach being slightly downhill). While there is a home in front of this property, you still have a satisfying view of beach without spending the extra premium to be ‘on the beach’; I could spend some more time on details, but overall we would rent this property again and again if available next time(s) we vacation on the cape; lastly you can’t put a price on the conveniently close general store that has everything you need and is an easy walk (can’t put a price on being able to the walk to the donut stand before they sellout in the mornings either)

Graduation family celebration

The house itself was very very nice. We had issues with our door codes in the house was not very well supplied regarding there were no beach towels, and the kitchen was not very well equipped. No decent knives for food prep, and no platters for food serving. Unfortunately, the beach had eroded quite a bit, in the location of the house and it was in a bit more crowded area than we do generally stay when we go to Cape San Blas

Amazing Respite

Our stay in the Lazy Turtle went by way too quickly. We had our family of 5 plus two small dogs. Everything about the house was so nice- it did not disappoint at all and is exactly as it is described in the listing. There was plenty of room for everyone. The beds and furniture were very comfy and have been well-maintained. The balconies were a great bonus. Be aware that on the main floor balcony there isn’t a gate to the stairs, so if you have a little one or a dog it would be wise to bring a baby gate. There were plenty of bath and beach towels for all of us. The kitchen had all we needed for homemade suppers: just be sure to bring your own condiments. The beaches were beautiful and the dog-friendliness is the reason we keep returning to the area. The community pool needs a little love, but we figured since we were early in the season maybe there hasn’t been a chance to update and clean everything there yet. We would absolutely love to stay here again.

Great house

This is a great house and location! House is beautiful and well maintained. An FYI - The shower in the master takes approximately 7-10 min to warm up! Also I did call Saturday evening after we got there because the living room fan/light would not operate with the remote and it wasn't a battery issue, but never heard back. Not a huge issue since it wasn't hot and didn't need the fan. Overall it was a great house and enjoyed our stay. We will be back!
