"From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. The staff in this hotel are all so friendly and helpful. Our room was bright airy and spacious and also had a balcony. "We had 3 nights at Penina after a week in Vilamoura. We arrived at 1.30pm and were able to check in and use the facilities straightaway. We had a mountain facing room which was fine for a short stay. The buffet restaurant was disappointing - the Mexican food was very bland. The Italian restaurant wasn’t much better, the scallops hadn’t been seared, neither had the skin on the sea bass. "Cute hotel with a nice view even tho the casino is right in front. Both breakfast and dinner included in my stay which was a nice surprise! And the cleaners left it super clean and nice daily - super är thankful! Beds weren't the softest but I barely slept so it's okay."
