Each little apartment has a living space, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen which includes microwave oven, stove and Smeg espresso machine on the main floor with winding steps up to a loft with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has a great chef with lots of homemade Portuguese dishes. We highly recommend this place. ”

“The Stone House, lovingly owned by Mark and Sharon was a step back in time. The stone structure, while I suspect it was built many years ago still had all of the modern conveniences you would want.This well appointed home was set in the mountains and we were able to step out of modern chaos and truly relax. The gardens, the pool and the outdoor patio set the stage for a lovely glass of vhino verde and great conversation.Thank you Mark and Sharon for sharing your well-loved home with us! We will……

“We had a wonderful 5 nights. Our little house could have easily slept 6. It was typically rustic country living and had all the amenities that we needed. We even had a covered parking area for our car to keep it cool. The pool was set in a lovely little garden with loungers and it was our personal haven especially as we hit the heat wave and most days it was in the 40's. The pool was our go to place when we arrived back from our daily jaunts. We were a 15 minute drive from a large Lidl store……

“Idyllisch plekje. Heerlijk rustig. Mooie natuur. Maar een paar honderd meter lopen naar het kustpad. Een accommodatie die nog mooier blijkt dan op de foto's. Hele fijne gastheer en gastvrouw. En de watervijver was heerlijk. ”

El menaje, mobiliario, y distribución estaba todo fantástico, muy completo y práctico. La situación es inmejorable. Hemos alquilado varias veces por la zona y sin duda repetiremos. “We loved Burgau. The VRBO was great for us. It was a little hard to find. That was the only difficulty. The apartment had what we needed. It was right across the street from 2 restaurants. We loved the view from the upstairs balcony. We would gladly stay here again. It was great for the two of us. It would be tight for any more than 3 or so. ”

“Difficile à trouver le lieu, heureusement Wendy et Paul sont venus pour nous guider.L'endroit est superbe, Wendy et Paul sont à l'écoute.Tout est indiqué dans le gîte, pour faire les courses, pour les endroits à visiter...etc..Par contres il est préférable d'avoir une voiture sur place.Merci encore à Wendy et Paul ”

“This cabin is super cute and located in the slow village. The antique furnishings were beautiful. We were able to walk to the restaurant and pizza place, and our kids walked down the street to see the chickens many times. The restaurant was really yummy (chocolate mousse with salt) and the pizza place was just average and only took euros. The only thing I would wish for is a fan. It got warm upstairs at night, and we could not leave the windows open because mosquitoes would get in. The bbq area……
